Woohoo it's Manic's Virtual Blood Drive! I'm so ready to donate again but I can't until the end of January when my 8 weeks are up! I'm so there! And I wanna win something great this year! Are you gonna make a button we can post on our blogs to advertise it for ya? I would certainly love to help get more blood too!
If it is time for your annual blood drive, I soooo wish I could participate. I'd be right there! However due to health issues I can no longer donate blood. It sux bigtime...
I am up for it. I give blood at least once a year so it's no big deal for me to do but I have never had my picture taken while it was happening so that will be a first. Anything for you, Manic.
I was diagnosed with anemia a couple of months ago, so I'm pretty sure I can't donate blood. :( When I go back to get tested again, I'll ask the dr if it's a temporary thing, or like a forever thing. Ohhh, maybe I can get my daughter to do it if I can't. Can you donate if you're 16?

ReplyDeleteAt 16 you can donate. I think with anemia, if you up your iron counts, you might be OK. Lots of red meat! STEAK!!!! Be well!
