OK, you’ve GOT to know these girls –
famous authors Emma and Nicola, who co-wrote The Nanny Diaries, which was then made into a movie.
I also loved their book Dedication, if you didn’t get a chance to
check that one out!
BetweenYou and Me comes out TODAY, and their publicist wanted me to tell you about a
special deal they’ve got going on: For the first time ever, OpenSky is bringing a book to
life. On OpenSky.com, starting June 12 for just two weeks -- there will be a
special collection of celebrity curated fashion and accessories inspired by Between
You and Me's main character Kelsey Wade. From red
carpet ready accessories to the perfect sunglasses for hiding from the
paparazzi, it features pieces chosen by Ali Fedotowsky, Monet Mazur, Kelly
Bensimon, Molly Sims, and Nancy O’Dell. So, after you enter to win the book
here, go to OpenSky.com and check out the goods they have to offer!
Now, back to the book, Between You and Me!
What happens when you are followed
by millions . . . and loved by none?
Twenty-seven-year-old Logan Wade is
trying to build a life for herself far from her unhappy childhood in Oklahoma.
Until she gets the call that her famous cousin needs a new assistant— an offer
she can’t refuse.
Logan hasn’t seen Kelsey in person
since their parents separated them as kids; in the meantime, Kelsey Wade has
grown into Fortune Magazine’s most powerful celebrity. But their reunion
is quickly overshadowed by the toxic dynamic between Kelsey and her parents as
Logan discovers that, beneath the glossy façade, the wounds that caused them to
be wrenched apart so many years ago have insidiously warped into a
show-stopping family business.
As Kelsey tries desperately to break
away and grasp at a “real” life, beyond the influence of her parents and
managers, she makes one catastrophic misstep after another, and Logan must
question if their childhood has left them both too broken to succeed. Logan
risks everything to hold on, but when Kelsey unravels in the most horribly
public way, Logan finds that she will ultimately have to choose between
rescuing the girl she has always protected . . . and saving herself.

My sister! We didn't have a good relationship growing up, but now we would give and trust each other anything. She is my best friend and I love her dearly.
ReplyDeleteI could tell anything to my friend Nikolina. We've known each other for a long time and she doesn't judge and offers wise words for me

ReplyDeleteI could tell my husband a secret and be assured it wouldn't go any further. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMargie T
Depending on what the secret is, depends on who I'd share it with. It it inolves extended family members, I'd tell my sisters. If it involved someone else, I'd tell my boyfriend or my best friend whom I've known for 20 years.
ReplyDeleteMy husband for sure. We tell each other everything.
ReplyDeleteCarly H
My husband, I know he won't tell anyone.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say my husband

ReplyDeleteMy husband would keep my secrets.
ReplyDeleteMelissa A from CLC
Definitely my husband.
ReplyDeleteIf it's a secret that I find highly personal and could harm myself or someone else, I've managed to keep it to myself. Tis not an easy thing to do though.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is the one and only person I could share "secret" things with. my bestie is a bit of a gossip :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband is my tell anything to. Sadly, I don't have any girlfriend's to share those things with.
ReplyDeleteMy husbaNd.
ReplyDeleteMy best friend Erica. She always has been such a good listener.
ReplyDeleteMargaret(Literary Chanteuse)
I'm pretty much an open book (pun intended) so I don't have many secrets. BUT I seem to be the person that EVERYONE comes to with THEIR secrets. A lot of which I reallllly wish I didn't know :)
ReplyDeleteMy sister. She and I have shared so many secrets, and I know I can trust her to keep it to herself :)
ReplyDeleteI can trust my besties (M, M, and J) - they keep my secrets if needed. Though I'm much like Anne above...I don't have many secrets - I am very open. The secrets I do hold are others' and like she said - sometimes I wish I didn't know :o)
ReplyDeleteMy BFF, Buffy Dee Chapman! Yes, Maam!! She's MAH GIRL!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteNan
If I had a secret to share (and believe me I have had many of them in my time) it would definitely be my husband and my BFF. I can't tell you how badly I want to read this book!

ReplyDelete-Jen
jenknee1976@hotmail.com
my friend Amber
ReplyDeleteCarie
I have several people I could trust, however,I'd probably have to go with my husband!
ReplyDeleteIt totally depends on what the secret is! most of the time it would be my boyfriend, but sometimes my sister, or mom, or a certain good friend.
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend.
ReplyDeleteI tell all my secrets to my journal. Sad to say, the older I get the less I trust my friends. What I like about my journals is I know my 3 daughters will read them some day,so in a sense I am really telling them, just not for a long time.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the nature of the secret, but I really don't have a lot of secrets. Generally The Husband, but sometimes best friends are told something.
