SPEECHLESS By Hannah Harrington

Speechless
Hannah Harrington

This is definitely a book for the young adult readers out there but adults will enjoy it too. I started this one and don't want to stop. It's about the popular sidekick girlfriend of the most popular girl in school who is always the one gossiping. She witnesses something and then shares what she sees with practically every single popular person in school.

What happens after that renders her speechless.

It's awesome.

Here's more information on the book:

Everyone knows that Chelsea Knot can't keep a secret.
Until now. Because the last secret she shared turned her into a social outcast—and nearly got someone killed.

Now Chelsea has taken a vow of silence—to learn to keep her mouth shut, and to stop hurting anyone else. And if she thinks keeping secrets is hard, not speaking up when she's ignored, ridiculed and even attacked is worse.

But there's strength in silence, and in the new friends who are, shockingly, coming her way—people she never noticed before; a boy she might even fall for. If only her new friends can forgive what she's done. If only she can forgive herself.

With themes about homosexuality, friendship, bullying, there's a lot to discover in Speechless. If you'd like to win a copy, leave a comment about a time you might have been left Speechless over something, whether it was something hilarious, scary, ridiculous, off-the-wall, or whatever! Or if you saw something that left you speechless... whatever you want to share!

I am left speechless every time I see parents of young children swearing and dropping F-bombs at their children. It breaks my heart.

I'm speechless when visiting Colbey J because I don't want to drop the F-bomb in front of her kids. Haha. We used to be neighbors.

I can't ever remember a time I was speechless...There are times that it would have been best to be speechless, but I just don't have that kind of restraint!
