Diva Dialogue

Me, all nice and sweet as I go in to wake Diva this a.m. for school:

"Sweetie, it's time to get up."

"I don't want to go to school."

"You have to."

"No. I don't want to go to school ever again."

"Listen. And this is the truth. If you don't go to school, policemen will come to the house and take me to jail."

A thoughtful pause from Diva, and then: "They can take Daddy!"

Milk. All over my keyboard, that's what you did.
But you didn't answer the important question--did you send her to school, or Daddy be requiring spousal visits?

Heather--Yeah, Take Daddy, but leave his wallet! LOL

  8. If given the choice (and the ability to speak) I believe my daughter would choose her dad to stay and me to go to prison. That girl loves her father.
