An excellent ad. Thank you for sharing the link. It is so easy to forget that YOU are an attractive person, even if you are packing a little extra around the middle and the bottom... and your hair is flat... and you are wearing spongebob squarepant scrubs... We should never lose track of ourselves or doubt that we are beautiful, regardless of what the media says.
I saw that movie this Sunday on some CBS show, and some reference to it on reddit some weeks back. It's so cool and eye opening. I think it's great to have as many people see this as possible.
This is such a good ad. I must say that I am impressed that Dove did this.
ReplyDeleteThis has been a big discussion amongst my gal friends ..
I saw this ad recently when watching Ellen. It's REALLY good. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteJess Riley sent me your way. I'll be back. You've been bookmarked! (Hope it didn't hurt.)
Karen, any friend of Jess's is a friend of mine! I love her! (and know her personally!)
ReplyDeleteAnd when I get bookmarked, it does hurt... it hurts SOOOO good! Thanks!
This is just too cool !
ReplyDeleteI had no idea where the "film" was going and then at the end...eewww all that lifting and stretching was more than a bit creepy.
I saw that the other day and it made me feel so much better because I was having one of those days. :)
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be fun to have a make-up team do just half of your face to see just how awesome they could really make us look?
ReplyDeleteThat whole stretching the neck thing just creeps me out.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that powerful? I have it up on my one site.

ReplyDeleteWho knew that all that stood between me and a superstar modeling career was a little neck stretching???
