First, let me say I had SOOOO much fun reading your FIRST or MEMORABLE kiss stories! Oh my gosh, some of them made me crack up! I loved in particular the one from the girl who ended up locking lips with the boyfriend's older brother on the basketball court to make the younger brother jealous! And also the one from the first kiss on the wedding day! There were sooo many awesome ones. Thanks for taking the time to share them with me. I hope they brought back some fun memories for you guys as well!
Random.org chose the winner so congrats to:

Books: He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not & A Maze of Grace
Author: Trish Ryan
Website: Trish Ryan Online
Winner: KELTBAN
Hello Again! And here we have ANOTHER TWO-FER! And this is gonna be a long one, and I’m going to make you work for it today. There are SPECIAL instructions! I know you’re tired of just putting in the comments, “Pick me! Pick me!” so you get to tell me something fun today. Pay attention!
Today’s author happens to be another good friend of mine in real life. Do you get that I stalk them until they have no other choice but to like me? I met Trish Ryan at a Chicago author fair when Swishy and I went to see Stephanie Klein, Jen Lancaster and Stacey Ballis on a panel together. That was also the same day we drove four hours through six hurricanes and two tornadoes to go to Jess Riley’s book party and then another four hours back home. Here’s THAT blog post (there are actually two parts!) if you have more time than Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen will need to get their heads on straight.
The books. Oh yeah.
So Trish is a memoirist. Sounds classy huh? I love that! The first book she wrote is He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not: A Memoir of Finding Faith, Hope, and Happily Ever After. The original hardback cover looked like this:
Trish Ryan was the quintessential successful thirtysomething woman -- she had a career as an attorney, a nice car, and a succession of men clamoring for her affection. But despite all her accomplishments, the things by which she defined her life continually left her disappointed, especially when it came to dating. Like the heroines of chick-lit novels and Sex and the City, she couldn't escape her bad luck with men: men who cheated, who left her, who made her a lesser version of herself. After years of trying everything out there to make love work -- new age philosophy, feminist empowerment, myriad self-help programs -- she finally, hesitantly, decided to give God a try. This is Ryan's story of how her search for the right guy turned into the search for the right God, and (spoiler alert!) how she ended up with the happily-ever-after ending.
When I first offered the book on my blog, I told the stories of my first kisses, because, like Trish’s story, you gotta kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince. I just so happen to have the diary entry from my very first meaningful kiss, I was 13:
My first kiss, a diary entry:
December 29, 1982
Hey,
Chris and Andy came over at 8:30 pm. We hung around talked and stuff. Stacy and Leslie kept whispering to Chris and trying to get us alone. We walked outside with Chris and Andrew at midnight – “The magical hour" ha ha, and said Goodbye. Then Stacy and Les went towards the house but snuck behind the cars. Me and Chris told them to go in the house. Then he turned towards me and put his hands on my hips. He told me that Stacy and Leslie told him to kiss me. Then he turned his head and came closer and we were almost kissing and I burst out laughing. We finally kissed then Stacy and Leslie came out and started spying. So Chris said, “You want to make them mad?” We walked over to the hedge and he kissed me. I really can’t remember that much. But then he asked if I would write. I said of course, “Yes.” Then I kissed him and said “good-bye.” We kissed at least 3 times. I’m kinda glad Stacy and Leslie told him to kiss me. His lips were soft. Ha, ha. Love, Steph
December 30, 1982
Chris left.
Bye.
Then I met Mr. Manic junior year in college. (Not to worry, I had more kisses between 1982 and 1990, I assure you!) Our first kiss happened the night we met, among other things. We met in a bar called Molly’s. Later that night, we went to another bar.
We first kissed in a bar called Amnesia, but I forget the details. Get it, Amnesia, can’t remember the details. Ha. But isn’t that what happens when you fall in love? There are so many great moments, but the details are hard to recall. When you’re in love, there are great details that just keep coming and they outshine the next so the previous ones start to fade. I do remember though, I was dying for him to kiss me, and I was so glad when he finally did, right there at the entryway of the bar, and again, on the dance floor at Amnesia. And now that I have him available to me any time I want, I should remember this, and kiss him as often as I want. That’s what it means to me to finding the one. He Loves Me, He Loves Me … He Loves Me!
So, in order to win He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, you have to comment here AND tell me your first OR your first MEMORABLE kiss story. And that will enter you to win BOTH Trish’s books! If you don't tell me a story, you won't be entered this time. Make something up! I'm getting tough on ya! : )
And here’s info on her follow up book:
A Maze of Grace: A Memoir of Second Chances is the story of Trish and her husband Steve’s first five years of marriage… it’s inspirational and thought-provoking, and many times I stopped during my reading and really thought about what she has to say about her relationship with her husband, and with God. I am especially giving serious thought about the part in the book where a female pastor proclaims: GIVE THAT MAN SOME SEX. Seriously, read it, and you will KNOW what I’m talking about. It is SOOOO true, but how do you GIVE THAT MAN SOME SEX when the last two times you’ve tried to GIVE THAT MAN SOME SEX these kind of things have happened? Anyway, Trish has a way of writing down her story to make you think about how YOUR own story is forming, and I think that’s a talent not many possess.
OK, A Maze of Grace is NOT all about sex (Drat, I know, I know) but when I read it, we had just moved into our new home in Scottsdale, and things were quite challenging and I guess all I was focusing on was that part when I wrote this previous review. Trish is an extremely talented author, who is spiritual but NEVER in your face spiritual. Read her books and you’ll feel as if you’re walking away with a friend!
DON'T FORGET .... I WANT YOUR GOOD FIRST KISS OR MEMORABLE KISS STORY OR THIS TIME YOU WON'T QUALIFY TO BE ENTERED!

Oh great...I'm first. That's what I get for being up at 4:50 a.m. because my husband hit the snooze alarm five times and is still in bed. Speaking of him, though...I met him when I went home with a friend from a small town in Alabama because she had to crown somebody at her high school. The previous two winners were unavailable (one was in Germany with her new husband and the other one was pregnant). I was specifically selected because I was "from a small town and wouldn't be expecting anything" except, of course, her Mama's lasagna. We met briefly in the parking lot of a gas station in Ft. Deposit, AL when he saw my friend's car and stopped. He tagged along with us (and her boyfriend) that night to a bar called Johnny's Disco in Andalusia, AL. It was about like it sounds. Seriously. Anyway, we talked all night, but I wasn't really thinking that there was that much going on between us except that he was a nice guy. There was a shortage of those in my acquaintance as I was attending a women's college in Georgia at the time and was in my sophomore year. And then we got in the back seat to come home and he leaned over and kissed me. Maybe it was the beer, but whatever it was...we made out in the back seat like we were 16...with our friends in the front seat. No shame. :O I moved to Alabama when the semester was over, married him two years later, and it will be 26 years this July. Amazing. Probably not toe-curling details here, but hey, it worked. :)
Rick and I had talked on the phone and texted for a month before we met. Our first date was a UK football game. Best first date ever. I was a nervous wreck, I had told him "do not touch me" and as soon he gets out of the car, he hugs me. Then he patted my leg, I said "you've already touched me twice" Anywho...... couple of dates later we still hadn't kissed. After a dinner date we were sitting in my car and he asked if he could kiss me. And of course I was still nervous and said no. Then I turned my head (acting shy) I quickly turned my head back to face him and said "ok" very loudly and in a very excited tone as well. Still together, two and a half years.
My first kiss with my husband on our first date...we were near the airport, watching planes land. Cheesy, okay. But I remember thinking, "oh, he's going to kiss me now." He did. There was more than one kiss that night.
These both sound amazing! I'm ready to dive in!!
Hmmm 7th grade...1977...went to the school dance with girlfriends and wanted so badly to dance with the hot greek kid. of course my friends made it happen, aka forced me in that oh so embarassing 7th grade giggly way...but we did have a dance and then a kiss. it was the best! thru the years we've crossed paths for more kisses...a college visit...after our divorces years later...we have never wound up together and keep in touch online but every one of those kisses were memorable and I have to wonder when we met again...both single at this time...if there will be another...I mean WHEN! When! Should I attempt to write a novel? I actually just thought of a fabulous title...nah...but I really want to haul out my diaries now!! Dear diary...I got to dance with and kiss GK : ) ps why did you wear that orange striped cowlneck. toss that sucker.
Ok I see that I am the first to talk about my very first kiss. I was 10 years old and the boy that kissed me was 11. I had the biggest crush on him and thought he was so grown up. We wrote little notes and his birthday was a day before mine. In my eyes this made us a couple I guess you could say. One day we were hiding from my brothers playing a simple game of hide and seek and he told me I was cute. I remember blushing and not knowing what to say and he leaned over and kissed me. Not a simple kiss he tried to use his tongue and I punched him! Not your romantic first kiss but its what I had. Needless to say I also didn't win playing hide and seek because I went to tell on him. lol.
Thanks for the memories Bobby.
First Kiss - 6th grade, middle school parking lot, behind a school bus! Good times.
Strange timing; I was thinking about my first kiss just yesterday. I was 14 and had started "dating" this cute, kinda dorky boy. We were both in band (so we were both dorky, I guess), and were being driven home from a recital in the back of a friend's van. It was sweet, we were whispering to each other and then he just leaned over and we kissed. I still remember the butterflies and the crazy excitement. It was a special moment.
And the fact that he dumped me right as we started college so that he could date (and marry) my suddenly ex-best friend can't take away the specialness.
These sound like fantastic books. I am very excited to read them!
First kiss....wow, long time ago. 6th grade for me too. A boso brother. I had forgotten :)
Hope I win!

My very first kiss was when I was 13 and he was 16 and I tell you it was NASTY. I think though it was just the guy because the kisses after that were much better. The guy slobbered all over me and it took me about 3 years before I ever really kissed a guy again. Angie McCraine Parks
These are honestly the 2 books I desperately want to win, especially A Maze of Grace.
My first kiss was when I was 15. I was working on a play and had asked my boyfriend at the time if he wanted to come help me move sets around. Really it was an excuse to be around him more, as if having lunch together and riding home together wasn't enough.
We were dancing around the stage and I was showing him where things move and where in the script we needed to move them. He picked me up into his arms and started to spin me around. Being terribly motion sick I told him to put me down before I got sick. So he stopped spinning, laid me down on one of the set couches, and started tickling me. As if that would make me feel any better. I told him, no begged him, to stop. Luckily, he immediately did. Slowly he leaned in, I turned my head bashfully, so he got my cheek.
Later in the night, after moving said couch off of the stage during a set change, we watched the show from the couch. He turned my chin towards him and said "You're not going to turn your head this time, can I kiss you now?" I nodded and he leaned in for THE kiss.
It was truly an amazing first kiss. I will always remember every detail of it because it was so much like something you would read in a book. Also my most memorable first kiss.
I was a late starter and had my first kiss in college. I found out later that he was kissing all the girls in the dorm. Needless to say he was not a long term relationship.
Thank you for the great book giveaways.

The first kiss that comes to mind, makes me laugh more than anything. The guy I was dating at the time and I were at a baseball game, on the way home he wanted to go through McDonalds drive through to get something to eat. When we were getting ready to go our seperate ways for the night, we kissed, and I just remember him saying he ruined it because he tasted like McDonalds.
I met my husband while he was working at a water park. I was wearing a tiny red string bikini and I was flirting with him as I thought he was cute, he was very shy and blushing. At the end of the day I asked for his number and called him that night. My girl friends were afraid he was just looking for an easy girl but he proved wrong. We went on several dates but he didnt kiss me. Our first date he took me shopping and gave me his visa told me to get whatever I want. We did movies a concert and dinner seeing each other every singal night by day 10 I finally asks him why he hadn't kissed me just as I was asking what was wrong with me he gave me the most passionate kiss ever. I tingled everywhere, that was when I knew there was something special there. I felt a connection I had never felt before. It was later that I found out the reason he hadn't kissed me as he had never kissed anyone before and he was scared. I was 17 and he was 20. It's now 8years later we are happily married with a beautiful 2 year old son and I still get the tingly feeling when we kiss. It's like every kiss is likethe first one all over again.

I had my first kiss when I was in 10th grade. It was with my first "real" boyfriend, Todd. We kissed in the bus parking lot of our high school...how romantic! Haha!!
Oh they just keep getting better and better!!!
I actually LOVE that you're making us work for it. Thanks for making me remember my first kiss, with a guy I’m now embarrassed to say I actually kissed!
Needless to say I'll tell you about my first memorable kiss with my long term boyfriend, since as you put it so well when you're in love that kiss is much more memorable than the others!
My boyfriend of almost 4 years and I worked together for about 6 months before he finally got up the nerve to ask me out, or I finally got rid of my then loser boyfriend… details details. Because we had worked together we were both pretty nervous, the whole is this a good idea? What if it doesn’t work out etc. etc. so after dinner we went to a bar for drinks. As he was about to get up to go to the bathroom, out of nowhere he leaned over and kissed my check. Needless to say it wasn’t a real KISS KISS, but it was so memorable because it came out of left field, and as he later put it “he just had to kiss me, I couldn’t resist…”
Of course later that night we had our REAL first kiss, and have been kissing ever since!
Ahh, the first kiss...well, the first time my husband kissed me (there were others before...), to make a long story short, we worked together, he didn't like to be dating and working together, but he liked me. We did a few things as "friends" for a couple of months, one of those nights I had him over for dinner (ha...on my territory). There was lots of flirting going on and finally after dinner I sat down on couch next to him and I remember thinking "he better kiss me"....and kiss me he did. That was 10 years ago....the rest is history.
I honestly can't remember my first kiss. That was a long time ago, and apparently not very memorable lol.
But my first kiss with my husband was a week or two after we met. It was July and we had gone to the beach late at night, around 2 or 3am, and were cuddling under the stars. It was nice :)
Hmmm...first kiss...12 years old...playing spin the bottle in my friend's basement...2 people watched "to make sure it happened"..totally awkward...over in seconds...but the boy was cute so that's what matters, right?
Oh great this will be nice and embarassing. My first memorable kiss was when I was in 1st grade and Anderson Parker and I were playing Snow White on the playground. He made me lay down on the grass and then he said he would be the prince and he kissed me on the cheek. I know that is a cop-out because it was not a real kiss so let me tell you my much less memorable and much more embarassing first kiss. I never really dated through high school because I was always waiting for that perfect guy. Finally, my freshman year of college I met this guy Justin. I really liked him and kept telling my friend Katie that I was so nervous because he might kiss me. I told her I dreaded going on dates because I was probably the only person in college who had never been kissed. Anyways, he was dropping me off one night and leaned over and kissed me. It was a pretty great kiss. GIRLS DO NOT TELL THAT IT IS YOUR FIRST KISS. I think he was totally freaked out about that. And now he is happily married to his high school sweetheart and I have been dating a fantastic guy for almost a year and a half.

I'm not going to talk about my first kiss, or any after that with boys I barely remember. I met my boyfriend in college in 2006 at Penn State University. We were both involved in THON, a 46 no sleeping, no sitting dance marathon which benefits children with cancer. We started dating a few months later. We spent all of his senior year (my junior year together). Then he got a job 1,000 miles away. Thus began our long distance relationship. It was very much like that Drew Barrymore movie "Going the Distance." We would go months on end without seeing each other. We have been together for 4.5 years, and we've only lived in the same town for 18 months. On average, we see each other about 4 times a year, so we only get to spend about 3-4 weeks a year together. When we greet each other at the airport, we make sure to make that first kiss a great one. Same goes for our goodbye kiss. We gotta make it a good one because it will be the last one for a few months. Every kiss should be a memorable one.
First kiss - walking home from first grade with the neighborhood first grade boy. He pulled me behind the chimney of his house and said I had to kiss him for ten seconds .....so we did while he counted and . ..that was it, lol
My first kiss was with my high school boyfriend. We were at his house watching movies and when I got ready to go home, we stood by the door and he kissed me. That doesn't sound that interesting but the fact that he was 6'4" and I'm 5'3", I'm sure it looked rather interesting.
qweska8402
My first kiss was in second grade. For some reason I just adored this one boy and chased him all over the playground and one day just plonked a big kiss on his lips and boy did I get in trouble! :)
My first kiss with my (now) husband is very memorable because we were out with a group of friends and didn't really know each other that well. But I felt attracted to him and he walked me to my car and actually ASKED ME if he could kiss me. That freaked me out. But wow! I was glad I said yes to that kiss!
I wish I could forget my first kiss. It wasn't magical, it didn't make my toes curl. I was in 7th grade and the boy that I was "dating" at the time kissed me at the back of the bus. It was sloppy and slobbery and he pretty much had no aim. I remember thinking "that's it?"
This guy I liked and I both stayed the night at my friends house. I tried to sleep all night, but did not have much luck and I don't think he did either. But that morning once we were both awake and talking he just leaned over and kissed me.
I was a bit shocked, but couldn't quit smiling for quite a while.
This was my first kiss.
Most memorable kiss - after the minister said "you may kiss the bride". Yes, really! It was the only time that day I was able to close out all the other people around us and just focus on my hubby. So special. Sorry its not really a juicy fun story...
~MommyMer
I don't remember my first kiss. And not in a "its been too long way", but in a "I blacked out at moment of impact" way. Not that I hadn't been warned. He'd told me that morning he was going to kiss me at lunch. And he meant it.
We were standing by a brick wall.
He took me in his arms.
And, I assume, he kissed me.
Or robbed me. I couldn't have told you even two seconds after it ended What had just happened.
Fortunately, he wasn't "The One." "The One"'s first kiss I remember in exquisite detail. Knee-weakening, Heart-fluttering, Fireworks detail....
My first kiss took place during a formal dance in 10th grade. The boy I was dating was 2 years older then I was. I was the goofy, awkward 15 year old girl and he was, well, he was 17 and the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I have to say he was a gentleman the whole night but as soon as his favorite song was played he moved in for the kill. Needless to say I was his forever after that first kiss. We said our "I dos" right out of high school but as with most story lines there are good times and bad times. Unfortunatly, sometimes the good ones are taken away from us too soon but I will always have that lovely memory and a wonderful 22 year old son to show for it.
Great day everyone. Debydew110
First Kiss, 9th grade. Late bloomer, no chest, etc. My friends paid one of the neighborhood boys to kiss me so I wouldn't be left out. He told me I smelled like pickles- so I punched him. We dated for 2 years after that.

I had my first boyfriend the summer before I turned 16. One of my best friends went on a date with him and got tired of him so she 'gave' him to me. It actually turned out quite well. We double dated on our first date and it took us about an hour of inching to finally hold hands. When we drove him home I didn't get out of the car so no kiss! The next weekend he came over to watch some MTV (the hottest new thing). We were arguing over Flock of Seagulls and I turned to change the channel. When I turned back he was all ready and we shared our first kiss. It was pretty much what you want your first kiss to be. Soft, gentle and not to wet. We were pretty inseparable that summer but broke up in September. He went on to date another friend so we were still on good terms.
My LAST first kiss was with my husband! We met July 4th, 1996. We were both 18, and were introduced through my best friend who was dating his best friend. I introduced the two of them at summer camp. I had just broken up with a guy that cheated on me (in front of my face none the less) and had sworn off dating. I was going with my friend T to meet J and his friends for a trip to Holly Beach for fun in the sun and a little beer drinking. (at the time 18 was the legal age here) So the whole way there T kept saying how I should meet J's friend Beerman. I told her I was only going to get tan and drink beer...I hated boys! So we arrive and introductions are made, and he was kinda shy at first. Later that day after a few beers we started chatting and realized we had a bit in common. On the ferry ride home he came over to our car to talk. T and I were in the back seat. I looked at his eyes...beautiful hazel, and I told her he has beautiful eyes. He looks back at us and asked what I said...I played it off, of course! But I knew...at that moment he was the one! Later that evening, he was sitting in a recliner and I was on the floor. We were all hanging out, listening to music, and he got up to change the CD. I took his seat. He looked at me and said "I know you didn't just take my seat." And I said "I know I did!" Joking he said get out, and I told him no, he was going to have to sit on me because I wasn't moving. And he did...all 6'2" of him right in my lap! So the snuggling began, and the ear whispering...which led to the first kiss! FIREWORKS!! Only fitting since it was July 4th!! We have been together ever since...happily ever after! Almost 15 years! Love ya Beerman!
And that's my story! Buttah
So...as strange as it sounds, a memorable kiss of mine happened way back in kindergarten. I know...people say it doesn't count, but it's pretty hilarious. At 6 years old you have no idea how romance works anyway, but Daniel sauntered on up to me in my little pigtails, gave me a quick peck on the lips, and left me with his mother's ring. No joke...a ring!...which I promptly threw out the school bus window. No one told me to keep the jewelry men give to you! And look at me now...still waiting on that ring. That'll teach me. :)
I was recently divorced and attending a wedding over a long holiday weekend with a bunch of other single girls. Long story short, I bird-dogged a sorority sister's plantonic date who was visiting from out of town...we didn't kiss that night, but everyone came to my house for a bbq the next night. We DID kiss that night, but that's not the most romantic part in my memory...it's that the next morning, he unexpectedly ran 7 miles from his hotel (and from memory of a strange city) to show back up on my door step for more!
My very first kiss was also at the ripe age of 13. I had just started dating my best friend, let's call him V, for a week or so (I'll tell you how I remember how long it was later...) so anywho, we were in our science class and we had a sub. Our teacher left us work to do, but it was an assignment that we had previously done; of course, no one told the sub this. Being the goody two shoes that I am, I decided that I needed to rewrite my assignment so I could turn it in and receive credit. We were supposed to watch this boring science movie, that we had also seen, but all of the class made sure to tell the sub this one. We convinced the sub that we were allowed to watch another movie....Rush Hour 2. All the "cool guys" (V being one of them) were sitting around the TV watching the movie. I finished my work and decided I would go take my rightful seat...next to V. His two friends were flanking him on each side so they both got up so I could have a seat. (Side note: I knew he was going to kiss me because my friends had told him the day before that he needed to kiss me already! he told them he would do it the next day. and of course, they came and told me. so I was ready). I sat down and we both just sat there like statues. His friends kept eyeing him and they finally called him over (I guess to offer some words of encouragement). One of them even came over, sat next to me, and put his arm around me. He said, "See, it's not that hard!". Then V comes back and sits down. He tells me, "There's something I have to tell you." I'm like, "what's that?" and he says "this" and plants a big wet one on me!!!
Here this whole time (i.e. the week we were dating) the boy barely held my hand, so I was expecting a small peck. Heck no, his little 13 year old brain thought differently and I felt his tongue push its way into my mouth. Not very romantic if you ask me. But it's definitely memorable and I remember it till this day...ten years later.
Unfortunately we did not stay together long after that. Although he was man enough to ram his tongue down my throat, he was not man enough to break things off. So he thought it best to send his friend over to do his dirty work. Only his friend never told me anything. I didn't find out until one of my friends asked what had happened and why we had broken up. Let's just say I was less than thrilled...and I sure had a loud potty mouth for a 13 year old so V got to hear what I really thought of him!
The end. =)
Oh, Wow! When I was 13, I had gone to church camp with my next door neighbor, Lauren. I met and developed an immediate crush on Robert who was 17! The week after camp, he came over to Lauren's house. We sat in the backseat of her Mother's car (in the driveway in broad daylight). We kissed for about 5 minutes. He left and we never saw each other again. By the way, he was Lauren's ministers' son.
8th grade, the only one of my friends who hadn't kissed a boy ( I had broken up with my previous "boyfriend" for asking for my phone number, i mean really don't we talk enough at school?). So I have a new boyfriend and my friends lock the two of us in the basement until I have my first kiss. There was alot of giggling and I was told my kiwi lip gloss tasted good. I wore that same lip gloss then whole time he was my boyfriend...Ahhh the good ole day :)

These books always have the most eye-catching covers.
First kiss... I was in 7th grade and the boy, Jim, was in my youth group at church. I thought he was so cute. He went to a different school so around him, without the constraints of my own school's cliques and hierarchy, I could be the cool, confident girl I didn't often exemplify.
I remember our flirtation began with him teasing me mercilessly in the way that young boys sometimes do when they like a girl, but have no idea how to express it. There was the back & forth between friends of "he likes you/she likes you" messages.
One day he invited me over to his house after our meeting. I had some time to kill before my parents picked me up so I went over there. His parents weren't home and I was so nervous and excited. We talked a bit & I remember he played a Yes song for me that was his favorite at the time. He leaned in for the smooch and we kissed, hard. His braces really hurt my lips where we didn't quite align well. It was akward and clumsy and... not the kiss I imagined. In that moment, my attraction to him evaporated.
He walked me back to church and we said our goodbyes. I know he was confused that I wasn't really into him after that.
Ahh, youthful love is so fickel.

Oh wow... I was at a dance, I think I was 13 or 14... dancing a little too close to a guy... then boom! Kiss! Kind of startled me!:)
Oh the bittersweet memories. I met my first "real" boyfriend when I was almost 18. A late bloomer, and just starting my senior year, I was head over heels. He was a couple years older and the manager at the restaurant I was working at. We had been flirting for awhile and I started staying late just to be near him. A few days later, and a couple hours after my shift was over for the night, he walked me out to my car. He leaned in, and asked if he could kiss me. It was so incredibly sweet and he was a fantastic kisser! I was over the moon. Of course it didn't last...and it has a great deal with him getting back with his ex, but the memory of the first kiss is definitely a wonderful memory I hold dear to my heart.
First kiss was an elementary school classmate. Innocent and sweet on the playground...to be followed 20+ years later when I go to the spa. A esthetician walks up and says, 'Hally? Hally Hoots?! So excited to meet you! You were my husband's first kiss.'
AWKWARD.
Thank goodness she wasn't my technician.
My first kiss with my husband happened after our first date. We'd known each other for ages as he's my best friend's cousin, so I wasn't entirely sure that we were on a date. We had planned to have dinner and then ended up seeing a movie (Knocked Up - worst first date movie ever). After it was over, we went back to our cars, parked next to each other. He definitely kissed me first, but he says it was only because I bit my lip and that's apparently a tell-tale sign that a girl wants to be kissed. Little did he know that I bite my lip all the time! Not that I refused the kiss at all!
Later that week, when I was over my best friend's house telling her about the date, her mom asked if I kissed him. When I said yes, she called me a hussy. :-)
My first MEMORABLE kiss was with my current boyfriend, over 2 yrs ago. We met at work and debated for a long time if we should date because we were afraid to mix dating with work. Needless to say, people at work were butting into our lives, telling us not to date. (Assholes). Anyways, we were hanging out one night and he picked up his guitar and played it and sang to me! I knew right then I wanted to be his girlfriend. We discussed more that night if we should date, but the discussion made us more confused.
I finally initiated out first kiss before I left that night.
And now we live together :)
Ok. Here it is. My first kiss. I was five years old. The boy who lived across the street invited me over to play in his sand box. As we were digging in the sand, he leaned over and kissed me. I think he pulled away, we continued playing in the sand, and neither one of us mentioned it ever again! Till now.
Anyway, the books look good!
I don't think the actual kiss was that memorable, not was it my first....but this is the one my best friend and I still laugh about 20 some years later. I was 15 and was out with a guy name Mike and another couple. He first kissed me in the backseat as we were heading home from the Detroit Auto Show. The song that was playing was Aerosmith's Janie's Got a Gun. He actually suggested that since that was the song playing during our first kiss that it should be "our song". Romantic, huh? To this day when I hear that song I start cracking up.
First kiss: after first date, he leaned in, kissed me, then tried to lean on the doorframe to look all suave... promptly rings the doorbell, to tell my parents that he did, in fact, bring me home late. He immediately got the "deer in the headlights" look and bolted to his car. :)
My first kiss was scandalous. I was deeply, DEEPLY, in love with a boy that lived down the street from me..I'll refer to him as "B." I thought he was the most amazing, most beautiful 13 year old I'd ever seen (I was 12). He finally asked me if I would "go with him" (be his girlfriend), but there was a stipulation. I couldn't tell anyone because he didn't want his OTHER girlfriend to find out. Nice. At 12, I was totally smitten and happy to do what he asked. For a while.
At some point my girlfriends talked about him enough and made me realize that it wasn't fair. He'd totally ignore me if his other girlfriend was around, and was as sweet as pie when she wasn't. I got tired of being ignored and crying, so when B's older brother (he was 15), "F" told me that HE would be my boyfriend and wouldn't dis me, I hatched a plan. We were all hanging out at the one house where all the boys played basketball, and I was looking really good with my french braid and Bonnie Bell Lip Smacker lip gloss. F and I hadn't told anyone we were an item, and B was strutting around acting like a big player. When F came back to the b-ball court, he walked over to me and we kissed RIGHT IN FRONT OF EVERYONE!!! It was my first kiss, and a french one at that! It was in front of the whole block of kids that we hung out with, and, B's mouth fell open. It was quite the scandal. When my mom and dad found out what happened, I was grounded for a week, thus ending my scandalous ways. Good times, though :)
my first kiss to my fiance was at at one of my sorority date functions... it was very classy....
now we're getting married :-) which is why I should win these books...a maze of grace sounds like a thought provoking read, especially for someone about to take this big step! its on my reading list whether you give it to me or not, haha!
I'll go with my first kiss with my now husband. We met because we worked together and had mutual friends. After our first official date we were in the parking lot at work and he kissed me. The date had been awkward - our server knew him and hit on him the whole time - but the kiss was perfect!
My first kiss was when I was in 6th grade. I had a crush on him forever. Only problem was that he was my cousin/best friend's boyfriend. We were all hanging out together and playing light as a feather stiff as a board....anyone remember that game? Anyway...she had to go home for dinner and we were left alone and he kissed me! Needless to say that we both dropped the little womanizer after that!
wow first kiss...hmmm...must have been 13, skipping off school with my best friend and her 2 male high school friends...ended up at the beach sitting on some rocks with the waves lapping in...snuggled up with one of the guys and got my first kiss...not necessarily a good one, but the first one nonetheless haha
First, can I just say that "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not" would not come in more handy than it would in my life right now. Seriously. You don't wanna know.
As for the first kiss story...pretty textbook--junior high dance, my current crush...and it was awful. Thankfully I wasn't scarred for life...but it was a close one!
Both books look GREAT! Can't wait to check them out.
My grandparents took me on a cross country rv trip when I was 14. We stayed in different camp grounds every night, but when we made it to Missouri we got to stay 3 nights. That's when I met Ryan. His family was camping too. We had lots of fun hanging out and on the last night before we headed out on the road Ryan kissed me. It was the best trip ever!
Yes and Yes again. Please. :)
1st kiss was in 8th grade with a boy who was a friend during truth or dare..wet but nice. Haha
My first kiss with my now boyfriend was so romantic. I had met him earlier that night when I was out with one of my girlfriends for a girl's night. She mentioned that her friend Tom was stopping by and I didn't think anything of it. We hit it off right away and my friend and I ended up going to a party with him. Somehow, Tom and I needed to use the bathroom at the same time and I just told him to face the wall while I did my business. He turned around and kissed me. While I was peeing.
xx (fingers crossed)
~Nattygirrl
First kiss - playing house in kindergarten with my best friend Sunny. We were on the playground in the plyhouse, and he kissed me.
My mom has told me this story over and over.
xx (fingers crossed)
~Nattygirrl
I'm intrigued...loving her writing style! :)
My first kiss was actually a lot like yours, behind a car with my friends telling him to do it. But my most memorable kiss was with a guy I just met while on a family vacation, I was about 14 and he was 16. We were at some waterpark hotel in Canada at the time and my brother and I met him and his brother and we hung out that whole week. He was so good looking, he looked like your typical bad boy, but was really nice and sweet. After playing all day, we went into an elevator together after everyone left and he pushed me against the side of the wall and kissed me so passionately. Haha, it still gives me goosebumps thinking about it......
My first kid with my hubby was on Christmas night. He stared at me a little too long and I started giggling (I was 19!). But the kiss was amazing!

My first kiss was in 8th grade. I thought it was going to be a peck on the lips, the boy thought otherwise. Seems like every first kiss with any boy after that followed the same pattern! Melissa Rem
first kiss--summer between 7th and 8th grade with a guy i'm pretty sure is now gay and was then bi-curious
Very first kiss was in elementary school behind the shed. I remember kissing, and then playing on the fort. Sometimes I miss the innocence of being a kid :)
Tammi Hawk
My first kiss was when I was in the 7th grade. My parents had a few of their friends over and with the parents came the kids.. there was one guy (two years older than I) that I had basically grown up knowing all my life that came with his parents. I had been at parties where spin the bottle was played and out of fear I would suddenly get "sick" and have to go home cause I was SCARED to kiss a guy. I had NEVER thought of this guy in a "romantic way" but I wanted the fear of kissing someone to go away - so this guy and another one of my girlfriends talked me into kissing him to help with my fear. I don't remember anything magical about the kiss but funny thing I started liking this guy right after the kiss and so did my friend (who also kissed him.. such a playa!) I was too shy to admit I liked him.. so my friend ended up with him and I ended up at a party the next weekend.. playing spin the bottle :)
And there begins my story which is SO much Trish's He Loves Me, He Loves me Not it is scary! I LOVE this book.. Trish is an awesome writer!
It was a cold snowy night in Chicagoland. I had just come home from a disappointing date early, having made an excuse to leave. I was still dressed up, black mini skirt, fitted jacket. I considered the places I could go instead. My friend Bill kept coming to mind. I knew that he was in love with me. I had relegated him to the friend zone because he was not attractive to me. We talked on the phone often, long talks that last till early am. I had not seen him in months. The thought came to me that he was be thrilled to look up and see me in the audience. It really is an honor to be able to give someone that sort of joy and I really liked Bill. Suddenly the impulse to make him smile was almost too good to pass on. I checked his website to see where his band was playing. Not close and the drive would be questionable considering all the snow. I don't remember making the decision, just that I was in the car driving towards his gig. I walked in and approached the stage, he was looking down, playing his guitar. The lead singer noticed me and started grinning. He knew what this would mean to Bill. It took a nudge before he realized I was there and the look of total happiness on his face is forever imprinted on my mind. We kissed on his break and my frog turned into a prince that night. By the time we were done kissing, he was very attractive to me. We have been married nine years now.
Very first kiss ever? Middle school - 7th or 8th grade. It was a movie scene of a "classic" Middle School Dance - boys on one side of the cafeteria, girls on the other. Every so often a brave soul would cross the room and ask someone to dance. At the end of the night, "Patrick" asked me to dance! Bad boy of the school and Mr. Mysterious in Training asked ME to dance. We danced that middle school step-back-and-forth slow dance for two whole songs! Then he took my hand and came back to the girls' side and sat with me. I was speechless. We sat holding hands for what seemed like forever but was probably more like 15 minutes. Then he pulled me on his lap, turned my face to his, and... gave me the (in hindsight) worst kiss - a slobber-y, tongue everywhere, bad breath, braces digging into my lips, kiss. Back then, I was just so happy to have my first kiss. Looking back now, I realize it really could be a scene from a teen movie.
As a result of Facebook, 30-some years later, we've found each other again. He's not a bad boy anymore and definitely NOT Mr. Mysterious but it does make me laugh to remember that night and see his picture now.
Here's my something fun for the day- I'm headed out to the Big 10 basketball tournament as we speak (type?)! Flying at 30,000 feet hoping to score these great looking books to keep me company on my next trip.
It's a long shot- but go Gophers!!!
First memorable kiss was with my husband on our third date. Our first kiss.
Iambtinrb
First Kiss- I was 16 yrs old. I was Down the basement of a friend's house with this really cute guy that I thought I would never get. Her stepmom walked in on us as he was kissing me (with no shirt on) and she freaked out and told my friend that we were getting ready to have sex. We were just kissing. .. and I will never forget the guy i kissed or that situation. It makes me laugh so hard now. .. but back then I was so scared she was gonna call my parents and tell them what I had done.
My first kiss (umm...super embarrassing) - I was in 8th grade and I had finally convinced my mom to let me have a small Christmas party. We played "spin the bottle" and my friends arranged it so that I got to kiss my crush. I really really liked him, but I wasn't a very mature 8th grader and all I kept thinking the whole time was "this guy has dog lips!!" Ha! We ended up being friends and kissing got a lot better with other guys later when I got into high school, but I'll never forget "dog lips"!
First kiss-I was fifteen and "secretly" dating a 17 yr old (I wasn't allowed to date until 16). Parent's out of town on the couch in the basement and he gives me a french kiss. Kinda grossed me out at first. Not exactly the sweet first kiss I was hoping for . .
My first kiss - 6th grade behind the school after play practice. John asked if he could kiss me, I said sure (after all he was cute and popular!). He then tightly closed his eyes, opened his mouth super wide and stuck his wiggly tongue all the way out and lunged at me.
I ran. Fast. And didn't let a boy near me for 3 years after that!
I have so enjoyed these comments - I'm on my second cup of coffee! Thanks for another great contest day MaNiC!
Christine
My first kiss was in the 6th grade. I had a crush on this boy and I later found he thought I was cute too. We decided to that we would kiss one day after school. The kiss was a memorable one as it was my first but so planned, not fun at all!
First memorable kiss? With my soon to be husband. We worked together and I would stare at him in his suit wondering what he looked like minus the shirt and tie. Many months later we went out on a date. And it was months before we kissed... once we did it was a done deal. Got married, got kids, grew up and now it's 27 years later. Hard to believe!
My first kiss was in 10th grade after a dance. My first boyfriend, my friend and I went out to a restaurant afterwards and he decided to kiss me in the booth across from my friend! How romantic.
My husband and I were friends long before we ever dated. We played co-ed softball together and he and my brother had gone to school together. He had quit hanging out with everyone when he got married. One night about a year later, he came back out to play softball with us. We learned that he was getting a divorce because his wife woke up one day and decided she didn't want to be married. Dude wasn't doing too good so I made it my job to invite him along whenever we all went out. One night at a party, my friend I saved him from this girl who turned out to be not all there. We hung out together the rest of the night and ended up kissing. I was never interested in him as more than a friend, but after that night we were inseparable. Five years later we were married and we'll celebrate five years of marriage in June.
first kiss memory.. humm. Not very good, it was in the poll with about thousand other kids.. I didn't kiss them, just the one boy. Not good, slobbery... I hope he has improved over the years..

Ahh, the first kiss. It was with my first boyfriend at fifteen. We had a really cute first date, sitting next to each other on the couch. We started out on separate ends of the couch and throughout the evening he'd get up to straighten his pants and scoot closer, or I'd get up to get more popcorn, and come back and sit closer, until the end of the evening we were stealthily holding hands to avoid being teased by my cousin and her boyfriend who were also there. At the end of the night, I walked him out to his car and he gave me a quick smooch to end the evening. I STILL smile when I think about that story, even though he's married to someone else, and I'll be married in a few months. There's something so refreshing about young, innocent love. :)
I had my first real kiss at 14, with my much more experienced 17-year-old boyfriend. We were in the front seat of his car on dinner break from marching band practice. Some of his friends were in another car parked next to us also eating their fast food, and they teased me into it. Though we didn't "date" long, I never regretted that kiss.
hahaha My first kiss was AWFUL! I had seen enough soap operas by age 13 to know the difference between a good and bad kiss. :) My first kiss with my husband was great though! He was pretty sneaky, and it took a second for me to realize what had happened, as we were just friends hanging out in his dorm room...and then all of a sudden we were kissing!
Kassie H.
For my first kiss, I was at Lake Tahoe under a starry sky. Not a bad start!
I met my first kiss guy at a video arcade. It was a great kiss! This does not count when I kissed Christopher Charles John Triana in the first grade.
Since my first kiss in 1987 was with a blind date and we didn't really like each other much the kiss was not so memorable. My first memorable one was with my husband on our first date. We went to a movie and then sat in his car talking, listening to a Bon Jovi tape, and eventually kissing. The tape played all the way through and started over before we realized how long the kissing lasted ;)
The books both sound great too!!
--First kiss.....13 years old Freshman in HS--I was in band ( yes a band story but not camp--competition). I was a young naive girl and scared to know no one so when a junior boy started talking to me and showing me around I thought WOW great friend--( not oh wow a boy into me). So one fall night --band competition--he lent me his leather jacket and--being naive --when another boy walk with me to get a soda (same night --me still wearing the first guys jacket)I thought oh WOW I am meeting so many great friends --on our way back from snack bar and to the place were leather jacket junior was waiting- he stopped me and kissed me --tongue and all-- I was shocked, confused and completely surprised. So I guess this is how my "TEENAGE DRAMA" all started one boy smooching up and another diving in to beat the other- out one a freshman one a junior--so my teenage whirl wind began......might not of been a romantic kiss but will always stay burned in my memory.
First kiss?? Not really glamorous or even from a hot guy, we were nearing our 8th grade graduation and one of my classmates threw a party with alcohol, mind you, provided by the parents. Different time back then in old 1986. Everyone was all over, in the backyard and I was in the basement sitting on the couch when one of the guys sitting next to me leaned over and kissed me. and there may have been more kisses with different boys that night...a little fuzzy. Brenda L B
My first kiss was in pre-school, he kissed me on the elevator and i punched him, then I had to sit by myself at lunch.
My first kiss that didn't involve an assult was in elementry school at church in the choir room. A guy I was in the christmas play with leaned over and kissed me. I walked away. I don't deal with things well.
First Kiss...not very glamourous. I didn't even want to kiss this guy. I was in 6th grade and he was in 7th. He would like to shout out and make signs that "HE LOVED KELLY". He followed me around like crazy and declared that he would KISS ME! I swore he wouldn't...but he did in the middle of lunch in the lunchroom. I turned beet red. Not the best first kiss kiss but it was memorable.
First kiss was in 5th grade (shameful, I know!) Best kiss was from my wonderful husband of 16 years!! He STILL rocks my world!! Nanette N.
memorable kiss... first time i kissed my now husband (of almost 17 years) it was the moment i knew we would end up getting married some day. =)
Okay, so I'm supposed to talk about my firt kiss. I was pretty young, around 12. It was with my uncle's nephew but we weren't related! My mom was his wife's sister. Anywyas we decided to kiss and then my little cousin went downstairs to tell everyone. (It was at a family gathering.)It was veyr embarrassing, haha. I'm still teased about it!
My first kiss happened right in the middle of the grocery store where we both worked!
Yay, a twofer!

My very first real kiss happened when I was 15, and a whole group of us were on a chuch trip to Atlanta. A boy, Greg, that I barely new from a town near mine asked me to go back to the bus with him to get something. I had no idea he liked me at all. So when he turned to kiss me, I was caught quite off guard, and I did not find the experience enjoyable at all. In fact, when I got home I told my mom that kissing was disgusting and I would NEVER do it again! Turns out, I am quite a liar:)
My first kiss was when I was 15. I was at a Toga Party dance that our HS Latin group had put on. The guy was the boyfriend of a girl I played in band with. Boy, was I in trouble!
Also, the books sound great!
My first kiss was an older boy down the street from my dads house. I was 12 and he was 14 and oh so cute. First he called me and asked me if he could kiss me. The next day I was over at his house and he did. His sister was playing a video game right in front of us. It was really awful. Since it was my first one it seemed to last forever, and there was alot of tongue. Gross. Anyway, my husband is a wonderful kisser so I'm lucky.

My first kiss believe it or not was when I was 18 years old. My husband (well bf then) flew to Michigan to visit me...of course this was also our first meeting as we had met online (prior to the days of all the dating websites). I was so incredibly nervous and was trying to figure out what the heck I was doing. As soon as he stepped off the plane it was as if we had always known one another and cliche or not, when our lips touched for the first time my stomach did flips and the earth stood still. It was the most amazing kiss ever and when I close my eyes I still remember that kiss if it was yesterday. We will celebrate our 11th anniversary in October.
Here goes!
The first time my husband and I kissed was soon after my brain injury and subsequent coma. I was looking swift with my shaved hair (only in the front, mind you) and the patch over one eye! We had known each other for almost 20 years through our church but he is 10 years older so I'd never considered him until that time. We were driving around town on his day off from work and for some reason we stopped at park. All is fuzzy but I do remember his fish-like pucker and my exclamation that he needed lessons! I did give lessons and the old boy is pretty good now!
My first kiss with my husband came on our third date. He dropped me off at my car in the mall parking lot after we had gone to an outdoor concert with a group of my friends. He then leaned in to hug me. I grabbed his face and said, "kiss me already!" He did and it was magical.. in the mall parking lot outside of the Sears Tire Center. Then he explained that he had planned on taking me out on his boat over the weekend where we would share our first kiss.
I don't regret being impatient.
MEMORABLY...lizard-like! I always tell my husband that when we first started dating...it was like kissing a lizard. Just that his tongue is long...and he used a lot of it! He's since corrected that..must have just thought it was the thing to do!
In 4th grade I had already been friends with this guy since Pre-K, and another guy told him "You have been friends with her for that longand never made a move on her?" So we were sitting in the tires at recess, and he leaned in quickly, kissed me on the lips, then backed off and said "Gotcha". being in 4th grade I, of course, ran screaming. There was no further kissing, ever. Many years later (nothing to do with me) he came out as gay. Happily, we are still best friends.

Love both book covers and would love to read both books someday! I hope I win these two books! jennyfromthecube@yahoo.com
My first kiss was with a sailor who was home on leave. I was way too young and stupid to realize just how dangerous that could have been!!
my first kiss ever was with this guy Jack that I thought was sooooooo H-O-T HOT! Only it wasn't glorious by any means. LOL See he played on a softball team & I went to watch the game. Afterward the team went out for pizza & beer. He got wasted & passed out in the back of his truck. Well everyone else was leaving, but I couldn't very well leave him alone sleeping back there. So I climbed up in & just watched him sleep. He woke up like 2 hours later & was shocked to see that I had stayed. He sat up, but that just lead to the beginning of the spins that lead to...you guessed it vomit. :( (Oddly enough had just pierced my tongue like a week before & had some listerine & water in car.) After fresshening up...let the kissing begin! LOL I know you're jealous! ;)
The first kiss was a truth or dare.
Took the dare and had to kiss the doryk boy in the group. But that was ok as he was a good kisser! lol
Pennygirl, Manitowoc
Great titles -- great covers, especially the frog prince!
(Kissing with braces = so tricky.)
My most memorable kiss is actually one of the most recent... I dated someone in high school and never kissed him once! We were both too shy to make the first move. Anyways... we broke up and life went on and now here we are 7 years later. We met for dinner a few weeks ago and things just fell right back into place. All night we were flirting with each other and it was one of the best feelings I've had in such a long time. Toward the end of the night, and a few drinks later, we both got brave enough to finally kiss each other. And it was definitely worth the 7 year wait!
NicoleMG from CT
My first memorable kiss was with my husband after spending the evening together at a UCLA baseball game I stood in the doorway of my car when he stopped me from sitting down in the driver's seat and planted one on me. It was the best. =)

ok I'm reposting and I hope this counts cuz I was asleep on my first post and although it was boldly printed it didn't sink in to my head after 8 hours of night work. Now to think of a memorable kiss- Well this is not saying anything good that I'm having this much trouble coming up with one! I really don't remember off hand my first kiss but ok a memorable kiss which was a kiss on the cheek but now I was young- I was really into soccer and had a major crush on one of players and when I met him he turned me and kissed me on the cheek! Oh my knees still go weak just thinking of it!!!
Love when 2 books are offered!
First kiss with my current boyfriend...not too romantic. Our first night was romantic. He told me I was the woman he wanted to marry and we told people we were newly engaged. Turns out people love that so we got free bottles of champagne and pictures with santa! Two nights later, after wings and beers, we finally shared a kiss. It's been 4.5 years now and still going strong~
My first kiss with my now husband was so awkward. I was trying to get him to kiss me and he was too polite and just didn't get it until I ended up blocking his way through a doorway and finally told him -he'd have to pay a toll and made him kiss me - I was shy, but he seemed to be more shy than me - so glad I did that! Jill Fay
I was in high school and worked at the local movie theatre. He was an usher and I worked in the snack stand. We were the last two employee, other than management, to leave the building. As we were walking down the back hallway, going towards the exits, he asked me if I wanted to hang out. I was surprised since I didn't expect him to ask me that in a million years. I said sure and what did he want to do. Normally, the other high school age employees went out to dinner after work to relax and talk about what happened that day. He said he didn't have a clear idea, then he grabbed my arm, pulled me close and kissed me. I stood there shocked because we were at work, in public, I didn't know he liked me and did I say we were at work?!?!?! After the kiss ended, I told him to call me sometime and we could figure out what to do.
Of course, I immediately drove over to my best friends house, knocked on her window so her parents would hear and told her the entire story.
First kiss...I was 11 he was 13 and sooo cute, we were next door neighbors, hiding behind the dog house in the backyard. Not very special but it just brought a big smile to my face....
I had my first kiss with my high school boyfriend on the band bus... so dorky. But it was a sweet little peck - he was a nice boy.
I've definitely had other kisses than this, many of which were memorable as well, but kissing my husband after he returned from his first deployment a few months ago was certainly my most memorable kiss. We hadn't seen each other in 6 weeks, the longest we've ever been apart, and I watched him climb out of his helicopter and walk over to me with a huge smile on his face. It was pretty amazing!
My first kiss was when I was 13 and I was being walked home by my boyfriend holding hands and after standing and talking uncomfortably for a few minutes he finally kissed me.
Well, I'm afraid my first kiss wasn't very interesting. It was with some guy (don't remember his name - John something). He was just kissing me to get back at his ex-girlfriend. I knew it, and didn't care. Just wanted to kiss him.

I still get a little embarrassed when I think of my first kiss. I was 16 and had landed the role of Marian the librarian in my school's production of The Music Man during my junior year. I didn't know the guy who got the male lead really well, but we became friends during rehearsals. Basically, my first kiss was on stage, in front of hundreds of people - including family and friends - at the end of The Music Man when Marian and Harold kiss. Gahh, it's still kind of strange to think about, lol.
I started dating my husband when we were 15 (yes, its true) and we had our first kiss after our first "real" date, when we went to see Home Alone. The original when Macauley Culkin was still an adorable little cheek slapping cherub. Anyway, we kissed in a semi-seedy parking lot waiting for someone's mom to pick us up. He claims I shoved my toungue down his throat but I believe his memory is lapsing. 21 years later, still kissin' him! :-)
Love, love, love these first kiss stories! Whoever wins the books will get to read about my first...my worst...and the prince that I'm still kissing :)
Thanks, Steph!!! xoxo
Hate to admit it but i don't remember his name but my first kiss was the result of a spin the bottle game:) Not sure about these two books because I'm not really into spiritual books - but I do like memoirs.

My most memorable kiss, sappily enough, was with my husband. My friend and I went to meet my future husband and his friends at the beach house they rented for spring break. We had only gone out together in groups before but he asked me to go for a walk with him on the beach. He asked me if I would go out with him on an actual date and if he could kiss me. I said yes (of course) and it was the best kiss ever!
Looks like another good one!
My first memorable kiss was with Jason, sometime in high school. A bunch of us went to Great Adventure for the day and Jason and I spent the day riding the roller coasters and log flumes and just running around holding hands. By the time we all headed home, it was already past my curfew. I was worried about what my parents would say, bit before I got out of the car, Jason kissed me. After that, I didn't care if I got punished (which I did). Jason and I didn't date for long, but his kiss made a lasting impression, and it was the yardstick for quite a few future kisses!
I was in fifth grade and I had been "dating" this boy for a few weeks. He was my best friend's cousin so every time I went over to her house he would come over. We were upstairs in her bedroom and she started laughing and walked out. I didn't know what was going on. Then he said she told me to kiss you. I got red in the face and just giggled. So he quickly kissed me on the lips and we both just got red. Then my friend and her older sister walked in laughing so hard. They had been watching through the crack in the door opening. So embarrassing. We didn't kiss for another few weeks but we held hands all the time. He is to this day one of my best friends.
My first kiss with my husband was on the night we met. He told me I was beautiful and leaned in for the most awesome kiss!! I was a goner!! Patti Col
I'll share my most memorable crazy-not-like-me kiss story. 2 of my college roommates and I were having a quiet Saturday night in--drinking and dancing and being silly. One of the roommates decided to drunk dial a guy I had a crush on but didn't know very well and left this horrifically embarrassing message on his answering machine telling him to just ask me out already. I was mortified and figured that was going to be the end of ever having a chance with him! The girls and I headed outside where I grabbed the first guy who looked cute and just laid a big ol' kiss on him. That is when the 4th roommate arrived home from work and dragged my drunk ass back inside. Incidentally, the phone message worked and the guy called me to ask me out 2 days later. We've been married for over 14 years.
My most memorable kiss was my first kiss with my fiance. It was our third date and the guy still didn't have the guts to kiss me. I was starting to think there was something wrong with my lips. Finally, at a very random moment he grabbed me unexpectedly and kissed me. It totally surprised me and caught me off-guard. It was like the world stopped and everything stood still for one brief second. Four years later, I can still remember the way it I felt and tingles it gave me all the way in my toes. Even to this day, I say to him kiss me like the first time. When he kisses me like that it is like everything else doesn't matter and all my worries of the day have disappeared for that moment.

5th grade, first co-ed party, spin the bottle. I got the hottest boy in the 5th rade to kiss me, but was only expecting a peck; he went in for the tongue. I backed away and said "ew" and he never talked to me again. Everyone thought he was a bad kisser until 6th grade when he made out with a girl named Kelly in a closet for "Seven Minutes in Heaven." I did not make this up. Since then I've grown to love french kissing :)
The first time my husband kissed me. After our first date and was so unexpected. I fell for him immediately.
At my first boy/girl party in fourth grade, playing my first game of spin the bottle.

7th grade in the back of the bus to a field trip. The relationship (?) didn't last :)
Not a first kiss, but a memorable one! Out of town at a conference and met a guy at dinner. A group of us were all hanging out afterwards "bar hopping" (of course alcohol was involved!) when he decided he didn't want to wait for everyone else and asked if I wanted to got to another bar with him. On our way there he is holding my hand as it was snowing and slippery and before I knew it, he ducked into an alley, had me up against the wall and planted one on me! Quite shocking but extremely good!!

First real kiss? 8th grade...first real boyfriend. He used way too much tongue, but I didn't know any better at the time. Ick. :) CariL
"Boyfriend" in eighth grade. And how funny is this -- he friended me on FB a few months ago!
Wow, first kiss. Let's go for first kiss with the man that's now my husband. We we're 16 and it was his real first kiss. It was sloppy and he got me with his braces backstage at one of my dance performances. Let's just say there has been much improvement in the last 15 years!
I had plenty of kisses before I met my husband but I can, honesty say kissing him was my first "good" kiss up until than they were just kisses.....
We had met through a mutual friend [at the university] and went out to a club that night... somewhere along the way we decided to go to Mexico and after hours of dancing and flirting, we kissed. Till this day we "argue" about who initiated it.
My first kiss...I was in 5th grade and the boy was in 6th. At lunch on the last day of school, one of his friends said that SCOTT (see Manic, we have something else in common!) wanted me to meet him behind the backstop right after school. Naturally, it was all I could think about for the rest of the day. When the bell rang, I walked slowly to the baseball field. Scott was sitting on the grass, leaning against the fence. I walked over and sat down next to him, not really knowing what to expect. The next thing I knew, he had leaned over and kissed me quickly on the lips. I jumped up and stammered something about missing the bus and ran off. I didn't see him until school started up again in the fall. We were nice to each other but I think he was over me!
My best first kiss was at a church retreat of all places. Was getting to know a cute guy late at night and he kissed me good night under the moon. Probably the sweetest kiss I've ever had!

I love having to work for a chance to win :)
There were two memorable kissing stories that came to mind instantly. And just thinking back to those times made my whole day better.
TheFirst was when I was dating a guy about two years ago. We had gone out a few times but he hadn't kissed me. One night as I was leaving his house he said good night as usual and I drove off. I had to make a u turn to get off the street and when I turned around he was standing in the road. Thinking I forgot something I lowered my window. and without any words he stuck his head in and quickly kissed me. Then proceeded to literally run inside.
TheSecond one was super cheesey about four years ago with a co worker. I had met him at a party and we were all taking pictures in a to dark room. He pulled me into a dining room with better lighting and said "lights " I followed with "camera " he said action and kissed me. Super cute.
This will make you all want to shove your fingers down your throats, but the first time I kissed my husband was on our wedding day, right after the preacher said, "And NOW, Keith, you may kiss your bride" (to thunderous laughter from our family and friends). I had known him for one year, and we'd been engaged for seven months (still married ten and a half years later, in case you're wondering). We realized early on that we'd both, independently, decided we didn't want to kiss anybody else other than our spouses, which to us meant waiting until we were married. This turned out to have some great benefits, as we were also in agreement that we wanted to hold off on sex until we got married, and not kissing was sort of a natural barrier to anything else we might want to do ("If we haven't kissed yet, then I CAN'T rip his clothes off! I CAN'T!").
It's an exaggeration to say the laughter at our preacher's joke was thunderous. I like to think that's because the attendees were on the edges of their seats in anticipation of the long-awaited kiss. One good friend who was in the wedding did say the sparks flew. Much like they did in the honeymoon suite that night, but I'll spare you the details about that. I will say this, though: it was the most amazing night of my life. Nothing else comes close.
Worth the wait? Unquestionably.
hmmm...my first kiss wasn't very memorable.....I had such anxiety....so nervous....and felt ill. LOL
Well, it isn't my first kiss, but it's my favorite kiss story! I met Nick online and he lives very far away. After a few weeks, he was in Orlando for business and suggested that I fly there to meet him and we'd spend a few days at Disney World. I was so nervous!
He picked me up and everything was great...we unpacked in our room at the resort and went out for some lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. We were just sitting there across from each other and he got up, came around the table and kissed me in the middle of the restaurant. So sweet! It's been a year and a half now. We still live far apart but we're making it work!

I love the 2 book days! And to be honest I'm not sure when my first kiss was...is that bad?

I honestly don't remember my first kiss. High school sucked. I can tell you my first kiss with my husband was a drunken one at a bar the first night we went out. Guess it was good since we're almost 13 years in now. TaraUB in IN
My birthday of last year, I made an ass out of myself in front of a guy that I really liked. A friend of mine saw it, and in trying to comfort me bought me some alcohol and had me come back to his place to talk and hang out just to get my mind off of it. After talking til about 4am, he said "can I ask you a question?" I said "sure." "Can I hold your hand?" "Ok." "Can I kiss you?" "Ok." Thus began the most romantic evening and best relationship of my life....
Just kidding, we stopped hanging out a few weeks after that. But it was fun! :)
My first kiss was in 8th grade with a 7th grade boy I had been crushing on for a while. We were at a dance and my friends kept saying he liked me and that I should go meet him upstairs. As nervous as I was, I finally went upstairs and found him by all of the coats. We had an awkward, shaky kiss and then turned around to find everyone laughing and watching us. He was my boyfriend for a while after that but in true 8th grade fashion, I don't think we actually hung out or talked much besides on the phone at night. Ah, memories :)
My first kiss with my amazing hubby happened on my 23rd birthday. I was technically living with somebody else, but he had taken a job well over a thousand miles away. I received a dozen roses at work, from anonymous and no phone call. So my girlfriend and I went out bar hopping. At the first bar, we were sitting at a booth, having a good time, and he walks in with a couple of his friends. We had been in our "easy" college classes together -- general chemistry, calculus and physics, but hadn't seen much of each other since graduation. I invited them to sit down, and since the bar was crowded, they sat. One thing led to another, and after calling him by the wrong name, he kissed me. The rest they say is history, and we've been married for almost 28 years!
Want to hear something horrible? I can't remember my first kiss. My most memorible one when I kissed my husband for the first time. I didn't even like him as more than a friend before that.

Seems like the first kiss is less important than last frog you have to kiss.

My 1st kiss ever was in 1st grade. Shane was moving away so we agreed to meet in the bathroom for our goodbye rendezvous. It was just a little peck obviously, but I still remember him & wo dee what ever happened to him. Love the new format, so much better than "pick me." ;)
Love the covers!
My first kiss I don't really remember, but the first time I kissed my now husband was at the airport when I picked him up. On the escalator going to the parking garage. His plane was way late and I had been waiting for him for what seemed for hours, we weren't yet together, but then...he kissed me on the escalator and we were. Though that was a really quick kiss, the next time he kissed me was when we got to my car. Fun to remember it!
Kindergarten, playground, chasing the boys? Does that count? Lol.

My first kiss... oh yes so memorable. It was after a dance in seventh grade I had a huge crush on the boy that asked me... we danced the night away (you know my hands on his shoulders, his hands on my waist.. arms length apart... feet shoulder width apart rocking from left foot to right) it was a magical night *sigh*. After the dance he walked me home and after saying goodbye he leaned in slowly... mouth open pulling me closer.. all romantic... it was around this point that I panicked, closed my eyes, pursed my lips and leaned in for my first kiss... which landed straight on his teeth because for SOME reason he had his mouth open EEEEWWWWWWWW...
My first kiss was not memorable. My most memorable kiss was on my wedding day :)
My first kiss probably doesn't even really count as a full fledged kiss. I was in Kindegarten and I had a "boyfriend" who just so happened to be in the first grade. I was standing behind him in line from Gym class (small school). I just leaned over and kissed his back. Don't ask my why, I have no clue, but it does sort of explain many of the issues I had as a young adult. Now my first on the lips kissing is a whole other very messy story that I really have spent a great deal on therapy to block out!

When I was sixteen I had gone on five dates with the same guy and he had NEVER tried to kiss me. I finally decided that he thought of me as one of the guys or he played for the other team or both. On the sixth date, I decided I wasn't going to hang out chatting with him at the front door in disappointed anticipation any more. I turned quickly to head inside. He grabbed my arm, pulled me to him gave me a kiss worth waiting for. I laughed, told him what I had been thinking about him since he'd taken his time to get his nerve up. We spent the next 15 minutes making up for the first five dates and went on to date for the rest of high school and most of college!

My first kiss with my husband was on a drainpipe at our college's pond. I was so nervous, I turned my head at the last second and his lips hit my cheek. We went back to the same spot to get engaged 6 months later. That kiss was much better! Lauren Royall
My most memorable kiss wasn't my first kiss. My husband spent two years working in Singapore and during that time, we began dating, from a half a continent away. Finally, after being apart for the first 8 months of our relationship, I went to Singapore to visit him. There has never been a better first kiss than that one. Because we had a long distance courtship, we were both truly grateful to finally be in each others' arms. That kiss was like one from a romance novel where we both melted into each other. I have never felt so cherish as I did when I had that kiss!
I was a late bloomer. My first "real" kiss wasn't until I was 16 years old and still memorable!
No lie, first "real" kiss (aka making out) was in front of an audience...onstage for a final dress rehearsal for a play. I was 17, he was 16...and it was his first kiss, too.

My first kiss was in second grade by Andrew (something) who had harem - me and three Katies. He kissed me on the cheek, but I'm still counting it. I had suuuuch a huge crush on him!
11/07/97: I was in the process of a divorce and had just gotten a second job so I could give my kids a good christmas. A co-worker asked me to stop in for a drink at a local bar. He really wasn't my type but I wanted to make new friends so I figured why not. I ended up playing darts with him all night and the electricity between us every time he handed me back the darts was crazy! When we left for the night, he walked me to my car and took my face in his hands and gave me the longest, sweetest kiss ever. 11/07/98: we got married on the anniversary of our first date. And 12 years later we are still happily married!
first kiss story that'lll have you LOL ? the guy leaned over and passed gas ") ooo yah!
It will not really have success, I feel this way.
