This one is deep, and it’s written by John Irving, author of The Cider House Rules and The World According to Garp so I was thrilled when I was invited to share In One Person on my blog. John Irving is WOW. Right up there along with the best of them, and I am happy to be sharing this book with you. I think you're all going to love this one.

It was difficult to come up with a question for this book so I was thinking very hard about it. You can answer either one of these two questions, or both if you feel like it:
How many men do you know named John?
Do you know anyone who is bisexual?
I have a cousin named John and my son’s old basketball coach is named John. And I don’t think I know anyone who is bi-sexual. But if I did, I wouldn't judge! : )

I know one person who is bisexual. I know lots of guys named John.
My brother is named John.
I have three uncles, grandfather, and brother named John.
I love John Irving's books! His writing is so captivating. "A Prayer for Owen Meanie" is one of my favorite books.
While most non-heterosexual people I know don't like labels, there are a few people in my life that could be classified as bisexual. Interestingly, they are all women; no men. My cousin has been with both men and women. Two female friends of mine from childhood have also been with men and women. One of them is currently with a woman and the other is currently with a man.
I know about 6 Johns and if I know someone who is bi, I am not aware of it.
I think my old roomate from college is bisexual. She has been in a commited gay relationship for many years but I know she had boyfriends before.

I can't think of anyone I know named John. I have met Johns but I don't really 'know' any of them.
As for bisexual, I can't think of anyone in particular. I know a gay person who used to date the opposite sex but I can't say that the label applies. I am betting I know more bisexual people than I think since it may not come up in regular conversation.

My husband is named John, and I have an uncle, a cousin, and many friends also named John. I know one person that is bisexual.

I know many people named John...an uncle, a cousin, an old manager, etc. I don't believe I know anyone that's bisexual...even if I did, I definitely wouldn't judge! People are people and love is love!
i have an uncle john and my bestie's uncle is john and my sister-in-law's dad is john. i do know at least two women who are bi-sexual

I know quite a few Johns (at least 6). I'm only aware of 1 or 2 (possibly) bi-sexual people in my life.
I know a few people named John. However, I do not know any one who is bi-sexual.
i knew a guy named john who was bi for a while but now he's married to a woman. a long time ago, he dated a gorgeous gay man whom i was crushing on at the time.
anyway, i know other johns, but can't think of how many right now.

I dont know anyone named John and I down know anyone who's bisexual, gay, straight,, or lesbian but no one who likes both.
My dad is a John and he has many cousins with that name.

I know a few Johns, and I only know of one friend who is bisexual.
My nephew is John, as was my father-in-law. I know several other people named John as well.
I don't know if anyone I know is bi, and I really don't care one way or the other.

I know many John's and Jon's and when I used to work with teenagers they all claimed to be bisexual..it must have been the cool thing to claim.
I used to go to high school with a guy named John. We weren't close friends though and are no longer in touch.

So many Johns! Never really thought about it before but I know a ton! I know lots of people who are bi-sexual, plus a few I think are but are scared to say it out loud.

Yes I know people who are bi-sexual. Like someone else mentioned I don't know any men who are, I can only think of women I know with the preference.
I know several people named John. Just in my small office of 10 people I have 2.
