MORE LIKE HER by Liza Palmer

Congrats Marla W.

Please send your full name, address and title of book you have won to stephanieelliot@gmail.com so I can send your book to you!

I first ‘discovered’ Liza Palmer through her first book, Conversations with the Fat Girl, which was an international best seller the first week it came out, because come on, who doesn’t LOVE that title? And it was a great book! More Like Her is her fourth novel, and it's about friendship, survival, grief and love.

Here is the blurb:

What really goes on behind those perfect white picket fences?

In Frances’s mind, beautiful, successful, ecstatically married Emma Dunham is the height of female perfection. Frances, recently dumped with spectacular drama by her boyfriend, aspires to be just like Emma. So do her close friends and fellow teachers, Lisa and Jill. But Lisa’s too career-focused to find time for a family. And Jill’s recent unexpected pregnancy could have devastating consequences for her less-than-perfect marriage.

Yet sometimes the golden dream you fervently wish for turns out to be not at all what it seems—like Emma’s enviable suburban postcard life, which is about to be brutally cut short by a perfect husband turned killer. And in the shocking aftermath, three devastated friends are going to have to come to terms with their own secrets . . . and somehow learn to move forward after their dream is exposed as a lie.

Read an excerpt here: More Like Her

Here’s an interview with Liza on SheKnows Book Lounge you may like to check out!

Anyway! To enter to win a copy of More Like Her, tell me, is there anyone you wish you were “More like her?” And why? And I don’t mean in a jealousy type way – who do you admire?

My friend Shelley. She is confident, care about EVERYONE, and is such a hard worker. She gets what she wants but without hurting people in the process. She took me in when I was new to Boston and has helped me make so many friends. Not many people would do that.

My cousin Lauren - She is only 21, but she has almost completed college, traveled the world for missionary work, and is the most amazing person I know. She has done more in her 22 years than I have done in my 36 years! jennyb75

I am pretty happy to be me but if I could take one of my good friend's attributes I would have more will power like Heather. I am impressed by her ability to eat right on a regular basis even when faced with sweet temptations. I am a sucker for sweets!
