This sounds like a perfect day! We did much of the same, only subtract the kids and cooking and add lunch at Red Robin, ice cream at Culvers, and now computing side by side in our office (we're such geeks) while the Olympics drones on in the background.
How funny...my husband dumped me two days before valentines day as well...but we'd only been going out for a few months. It was one of his worst decisions ever. ;) Good thing it all worked out in the end.
BTW: I am still in my pj's working on homework. Yeah.
Sounds like you had a great day! I am jealous you got to take a nap.
What a nice day. I LOVE Elizabeth Berg. Her prose is perfection, and her characters are real people to me.
Steph, Joel just asked "Why is it that women can't forget?"!!!!!!!!! See!! (Joel, no offense to you. We just have a theory.)
I listened to "True To Form" on CD--fun--& Elizabeth Berg is a treasure.
Aaahhh, now I'm craving Starbuck$.
Oh no he didn't!!!
That is the most horrible February 12th story ever!
that sounds like domestic bliss!
I'm so jealous of ALL of it, but maybe especially the pajamas-and-latte-in-the-evening part.
