DeaR MoMMy

I woke up this morning to a note underneath my bedroom door. It was from Diva, my 10-year-old daughter. This is exactly how it was written, what it said, and this is exactly why I love being a mom:

Dear mommy,
You are such a great mommy. U ROCK. I want to say thankyou for everything you've done throughout my life time. I really appcaite it. I don't know what I would do with out you on my side 24-7. Once again thankyou so much for being a great mommy! Your great!

Love, Diva

No Diva, thank YOU!

Now save that note, and pull it out and show it to her when she's 13. That should be entertaining. :)

Wowee wow, what a fantastic thing to wake up to, huh? Your Diva is one great little girl with one fantastic mama!

Sweet, but the dark side of me wonders if she did something wrong and fears the consequences should you find out.

Hope that's not the case. One of my boys might be thoughtful enough to write that without reason but the other never would unless trouble was brewing.

TRAVIS!!!! I totally think that she did do something naughty and was trying to cover it up! TOTALLY!

Wow how sweet. Did she do something really wrong before this and this was her way of telling you, that you were right? Or was this totally unsolicited.

Im glad it was a hand written note and not an e mail or a text. LOL

My kids will do that but it's usually cause they want something. They can be great kiss ups.
Maybe someday I'll get one "just cause." You are a lucky woman!

That's so sweet. I have one like that from my son where he says he loves my cooking and my voice. I laminated it for when he's teen.

What did she break?
Where's her report card?
Check your makeup.

She's a good kid, isn't she? Reap the rewards of your Manic work! And save that note for sure!
