Here are my Valentine presents! Up first is Tanya! Isn't she ADORABLE!? She is an alum donor of the MaNiC MoMMy Blood Drive and I was so excited to see her smiling beautiful face again! Thanks Tanya for sharing your gift of blood to those who need it again for this great cause!
And here's Paula, who I just discovered her donation sent in on Twitter! She snuck in! What's with these beauties and their blood! I'm loving it! Thank you ladies for your generous donations!
Now, what's stopping YOU from donating a pint of blood this month? We've only got two weeks left of the blood drive and some great prizes to give away:
Grand Prize: Southwest Airline Ticket
Suave Beauty Basket
Starbucks Gift Card
Target Gift Card
The country really needs your donation, and I love to see your smiling faces on my blog! For all the details on how you can enter, check out this blog post here: GotBlood?
Please consider donating blood. You've got two weeks. If you're not sure where to donate, RedCross has all the info you need.
Thanks!

Manic, in the past you did Weight Watchers. How did you do? and what were some of your secret hints that helped you? I remember if my memory is right, you did very well!
thanks! Holly (up in Canada)
Hi Hollly, funny timing of this because I am back on WW as of two weeks ago! THe main thing to do is to WRITE everything down that you put into your mouth. One other thing is to measure your stuff out. There's a great site I've been reading that's really inspiring -- why don't you email me and let me know what you're up to and the specifics (did you sign on or are you thinking about it?) Would love to hear your story and chat with you about it. We can help EACH OTHER! My email: stephanieelliot@comcast.net. GOod luck! Let's help each other!
I donated Friday afternoon, but just haven't gotten my picture to you...or on my own blog. Yea...I'm a slacker.
Feisty, I'm just excited that you donated!!! It has been really slow going this year for the donors so THANK YOU for donating again this year! Can't wait to have your smiling face up on next Sunday's post!!!
I heard on the news that with all the snow storms there has been a drop in the amount of blood available (because people couldn't get to donation sites) so it really is important that people get out and donate right now.
My appointment is set for February 20th!
I say there are No Excuses. It took me two tries to give blood. My first attempt was in January, but my iron was too low.
So this time, I ate all types of iron-rich food, found a good multi-vitamin and ate like crazy, so I would be ready.
You can do it!

Awesome Rebecca! And thanks Tanya for the reminder of the importance of the iron!
It was rather interesting for me to read that post. Thanx for it. I like such topics and anything connected to them. I would like to read more on that blog soon.
Truly yours
I was in the contest the last two years... but alas I am no longer eligible to donate. :( But we're rooting for you here in Indy!
Amy! I remember you as a previous donor! I hope your health is OK and there's nothing serious preventing you from donating! A quick check to your blog shows you were hit by a car! And a future move to Ireland! Be well! And thanks for the support of the blood drive still! : )
Steph
I had cadaver bone graft put in my head!! It was just a funky root canal, though. Sounds more awesome that it is!
Cadaver Bone Graft sounds WAY cooler! I think I'm gonna tweet that!
wish I could donate.... but they have rules against anyone that lived in Europe (Germany) in the 80's. I was a Military brat during the 80's and spent 9 years in Europe.
I've passed your contest on to people I know though.
