Congratulations to:
BUTTAH!
And check this out! Buttah won previously in the contest, so it just goes to show you how random this really is! It didn't matter when you posted or how often you posted or what you said or how you said it. And this just means that each one of you has just as much of a chance at winning the grand prize which is coming up very soon! And there will be TWO of you to win the books! Congrats Buttah! I still have your address so I'll just send the info to the author for you!

Book: Perfection, A Memoir of Betrayal and Renewal

Author: Julie Metz

Website: http://www.perfectionbook.com/index.html

Julie Metz had her Oprah moment, but she probably didn’t expect it would come about the way it unfolded.

Married and living the seemingly happy life, with an adorable six-year-old daughter in the suburbs, Julie’s life changed forever when her husband unexpectedly collapsed and died in their kitchen.

You’d think that’d be the worst the world would give you, right? Not for Julie. Months later, she discovered a betrayal that would have her question her whole marriage. Her husband had been leading a separate life and had been, in fact, having affairs with not one, but multiple women (at least five), and one of them being a very close friend of Julie’s.

Perfection is the story of how Julie overcomes the betrayal and rebuilds her life and identity after becoming a widow and finding out her husband had been an adulterer. It’s a moving memoir and Julie is a testament to all women who face any kind of adversity in their lives!

Read an excerpt here.

And here’s a wonderful video of Julie describing some moments in her life and also some FAQs you might be wondering about regarding her experience.

If you’d like to try your shot at winning Perfection (the very last book of this month-long promotion!) please leave a comment here on what YOU think is absolutely PERFECT! Can’t wait to read your answers!

Thanks for a great month, and come back tomorrow for details on how we’ll proceed to the grand prize drawing, and YES, I do have to still draw names for books from Friday, March 25 on, so if you didn't enter to win those, there's STILL TIME! Get on over to those posts and leave your comments!

*****
Please leave a comment, and all those who do will qualify to win Perfection! I’ll draw the winner in a couple of days and I will post the winner’s name at the TOP of this post, in the highlighted area.

Come back and read about each book every day in March. Choose the books you'd like to win. Enter for any or ALL the books. Each entry will count as an entry toward the grand prize of winning ALL 31+ books at the end of the month. You can win the book of the day and still qualify to win ALL the books at the end of the month!

PLEASE be specific with your name in the comment section, and IF YOUR NAME is listed as the winner, you must email me at stephanieelliot@gmail.com in order to claim your prize. Email me with your full name and address so I can have your book(s) sent to you.

Thanks, and GOOD LUCK! And come back tomorrow to see what book I’ll be giving away then too!

Nothing in life ever seems perfect, except maybe on occasion, like Sunday morning just staying in bed, or having an evening with friends full of laughter where for a moment you let go of the worries.

LizzybethDJ said...

So much in life isn't perfect and what appears perfect to one may be a nightmare for another. BUT these things, to me, are perfect - quiet Saturday mornings with a mug of tea, the smell of the ocean on a warm morning, laughing with true friends, hearing my cell phone ring and not only is it not work but a good friend or family, the smell of freshly baked cake, cupcakes or cookies. Another great way to start the day!

Dinner with husband, petting my Golden Retriever, watching my 3 girls laugh together, the feeling after a long run and eating ice cream. All are my ideas of perfect!

Perfection... When all four kids are home, we have nowhere to go or "be", house is clean and the sun is shining... that's it!

Thank you for all the fun and all the book recommendations and reviews and blog intro's! You are the bestest!

True perfection makes me itchy. I'd rather have unpainted nails going to an interview than look completely put together - its a jinx. Just begging for the universe to piss on ya.

But perfect moments? Usually involve my little man, when the big man is around to share in them. Voluntarily slipping his hand in mine to toddle off for a bedtime story. Spontaneous hugs. Mastering a new skill I've been working with him on for months.

Or just getting through dinner without spaghetti ending up on the BACK of his head.

Perfect to me is being home on a rainy day with nothing to do but watch movies all day long.

Colleen Turner said...

Perfection to me is being at your happiest and healthiest state that is possible for you. Everyone's perfection is different. The perfect day for me, for example, would be to be laying in the son with a frosty drink and good book while my son laughs and splashes in his pool and my husband hums and barbecues me a delicious meal!

Amanda Leigh said...

A lazy day when I can sleep, have nothing to do, can curl up with a book and do not have to leave the house is always absolutely perfect.

Hmm...what's perfect to me is when there is something that turns out better than I imagined. Sometimes I get so excited about something that there's no way it can meet my expectations...and then it does...and then some. It happens so infrequently that I really do appreciate it when it does. I have a lot of special moments...but rarely does it all come together in a way where I know that God has shown me tremendous favor in spite of the fact that I am such an imperfect creature. But they make life worth living...and are those pages in our lives that we turn down the corner to re-reference...or that we highlight and go back to again and again. All of life is special...but some things just defy explanation...and I'm very happy that they are there to balance out those what the? moments. :) ktmixon315

Perfection was my day yesterday...it was a perfect spring day, my 5yr old daughter got up without a fight, she had a great day at daycare, was wonderful when we got home, we had a great meal from the grill, she got ready for bed when asked (that is usually a fight), she read me her book, I read her a book and she went to bed peacefully. We had a great evening as a family! I wish I could bottle those days up because they seem to be few and far between. :)

Thanks again for this month+ long book give-away!

Perfection to me is having a day off with nothing planned and just being able to do whatever I want when I want to do it. I love waking up and decided a walk on the beach would be nice.
