OK, reader friends, this one is a heart-pounding one. It’s got all the elements I especially love in a book, and I really dig the plot of the ex-boyfriend who comes back into town. Somehow, that’s always one that gets me. Also intriguing is the fact that in I Couldn’t Love You More, main character Eliot Gordon has to make a life-altering decision in a split second, a la Sophie’s Choice:

Which child would you save? A decision no parent can even fathom.

Like HOLY CRAP, right?

So, here we go…

Eliot Gordon would do anything for her family. A 38-year-old working mother, she lives an ordinary but fulfilling life in suburban Atlanta with her partner, Grant Delaney, and their three daughters. The two older girls are actually Eliot's stepdaughters, a distinction she is reluctant to make as she valiantly attempts to maintain a safe, happy household… Then Finn Montgomery, Eliot's long-lost first love, appears, triggering a shocking chain of events that culminates in a split-second decision that will haunt her beloved family forever. How Eliot survives-and what she loses in the process-is a story that will resonate with anyone who has ever loved a child. With hilarious honesty, wrenching depth, and a knockout twist, I COULDN'T LOVE YOU MORE illuminates the unbreakable bonds of family and reveals the lengths we'll go to save each other, even as we can't save ourselves.

Here’s author Jillian Medoff discussing the book:

OK, what kind of question do I ask for THIS book? I’m not going to ask you to choose a kid, so let’s make this one light and fun since the plot is a little heavy – tell me instead if you are a vanilla or chocolate fan. I used to be chocolate but now am partial to vanilla!

And you all know that you’re taking part in the June Bash-O-Books promo, and you should check in daily for a new book, right? Every entry is an extra entry toward the end-of-the-month grand prize of tons of books – each day I’m gathering more and more books from authors and publicists and will share them all with you soon! Swirl, ok if you make me choose Chocolate. By the way, got a pedi yesterday at lunch and woke up this morning with athlete's foot. :( Totally thought of you, even though yours was way worse. Also, thank to you I have started writing a book. Thanks for your encouragement.

Although I'm a total chocoholic, I do tend to go for vanilla most of the time, you can always add chocolate to it, sometimes chocolate on chocolate is too much, but vanilla gives it a nice contrast.
