Thankful-Spry-Style!

Wishing you blessings upon blessings and loads of mashed potatoes and gravy!

Remember to thank the people most important in your life today, and tell those who mean the most to you just how much they mean to you. To all those in my life, and you know who you are, and if you're reading this, this includes you... I'm thankful for you and I love you!

Oops, and I just remembered something else important--even those who annoy you--make it a point to tell them you're thankful for them, because if nothing else, you've learned from them--how NOT to be!

Oops, forgot one more thing--I'll probably not post through the weekend, so if you're checking in, please leave a comment and let me know how you've spent your holiday, including what you ate, cuz you know how I love me some food!

Oh crap, I forgot ONE MORE THING! Tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day is the sixteenth anniversary of the day Mr. Manic made it known to me and the world that he wanted me for his wife. Sucker! I am sooo thankful for him. And he's thankful for me, cuz as we all know... IT'S CHEAPER TO KEEP HER!

Peace UP, Manic Style!

Happy Thanksgiving and anniversary of your engagement, Manic (and everyone! The Thanksgiving part, I mean. Unless you also got engaged on Thanksgiving, in which case the whole sentiment goes to you as well)!

I'm heading over to my sister Melisa's now, where our whole family and also her in-laws have gathered. Wish us luck. ;)

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well, and Happy Anniversary of your engagement! You and Mr. Manic must have some incredibly romantic Thanksgivings, huh...

Dining on turkey among lit candles...feeding each other cranberry sauce...smootching in between bites of sweet potato casserole...

Enjoy!

It's certainly cheaper to keep me than my other half. With his interest in flying and the maintenance he has done on his plane I just come with the lose change! Still, I'm not complaining, at least I don't need to feel guilty when I want to buy a pair of shoes :-)

Happy thanksgiving. We don't have it over on this side of the pond as it's not part of our history but the sentiment is just as relevant.

Sally T- You should be glad he spends all that money! See, he does it for YOU. Keeping the plane in tip top shape so it is nice and safe when you fly in it is how he says "I love you" every single day!

Awwwwwwwww. :)

Happy Thanksgiving,Manic! I am thankful for your blog, because you make me laugh. And I am thankful that I had to work today, because it gave me an excuse to do the proverbial "eat and run" out of my in-law's house. Yay!

I ate enough for about four of us, so there's that.

Happy day after Thanksgiving, also known as Black Friday.

I am thankful for my blog friends. Yesterday we had first Thanksgiving w/ my family and lots of food. Today we get to do it all over again with my husbands family.

Happy Revelation Anniversary! :) And Happy day-after-turkey-day! We had the usual turkey, dressing, canned cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, crescent rolls, deviled eggs, and a plethora of deserts! I ate WAY too much!

Cheaper to keep her. That's funny.

Hope you had a great thanksgiving, Manic!

I'm thankful for good blogs that keep me from doing productive work during the day.

We ate the traditional turkey, sweet potatoes with pecans, mashed potatoes w/ gravy, homemade cranberry sauce, and french green beans, and several types of pies: berry, apple, pumpkin and pecan with the whipped cream. So YUM!

I can imagine that the tryptophan kicked in before Mr. Manic proposed, am I right or am I right?
Happy engagement anniversary you two!

Jen--I was hungover that year and was just about to sneak into my parents' bedroom for a nap when he proposed. I think he proposed BEFORE dinner so I could be like waving the ring across the table with the 'pass the potato' move. It was (is) a nice stone too--close to a carat, so I was waving it around, for sure!

Wow, very nice move Mr. Manic ;)
