There were some real lively guests there!

Be prepared for the screams. I don't know who was more afraid--the snakes or the kids?

Check out how large this snake was!

She's so pretty, isn't she?

My mom would have NEVER done that for us.

Wow, you are quite the snake charmer. Does this come in handy during "puzzle time" with the hubby? :)

That looks like so much fun! I would have loved going to a party like that when I was a kid.

Oh how WAY cool! A friend of mine was going to do that for her daughter's party last year but the place she was going to have it wouldn't let her.

You so rock as a mom!

Hey! I met that snake a couple of years ago at our Cub Scout Blue & Gold banquet! :) I didn't want to hold him, though: ick.

That guy is phenomenal. The kids love him.

What a great idea for a party! She IS pretty, the yellow snake. Was that other thing an alligator? That's scary to me.

OMG. I didn't know you were the kind of girl who would hold a snake. YUCK!

Yeah, it was a 40-pound alligator. I kept waiting for it to snap at one of the kids. There was also a kimono dragon, a tortoise, and some other stuff that I can't remember.

It was not for my kid though!

OMG! I saw that guy at a fest in my brother's subdivision! My niece and nephew got to hold the big snake! Too funny! That guy was kind of annoying, no?

WOW! That is one heck of a party...I grew up in Florida and went swimming with the gators on a daily basis...but my mom would have never invited them in the house..How great is that!

Yeech! But yeah, she's very pretty.

I recently posted about taking the daunting first step when starting a novel for the first time.

Manic, and other fellow writers, I'm curious how much this parallels your experiences, if at all?
