ONE FLIGHT UP by SUSAN FALES-HILL

Congratulations
TaraUB!
Please email me your full name and address at stephanieelliot@gmail.com
so I can send you your book!

Susan Fales-Hill is an accomplished writer who has  not only written novels but I was surprised to find out she also wrote for some of my favorite TV shows back in the day – The Cosby Show and A Different World. I’m excited to bring you One Flight Up, which The New York Post calls “A chick lit masterpiece that leaves Jackie Collins in the dust!” …

There’s Abby Rosenfeld Adams, a Jewish gallery owner married to her Wasp college sweetheart, Monique Dawkins-Dubois, gynecologist and card carrying member of Harlem’s thriving Buppie-ocracy, and Esme Santiago Talbot, a Columbian heiress married to the All-American boy next door. When India, the most straight-laced of them all, learns that her friends are considering straying from their partners, she is dismayed. That is, until India’s ex-fiance, the love of her life, the destroyer of her heart, and the best sex ever, comes back into her life – and she finds herself caught between the dependable man she thought was her future and the man she never quite let go of.

To win One Flight Up, tell me if you and some of your best girlfriends could sneak away somewhere for a quick vacation, where would you choose to go? Some of my friends and I are going to Vegas in November! (Not my first choice – my first choice would be a beach destination, but my first choice really isn’t a place I want to put on a bathing suit either!)

If you're new here, check out the rules and all the books at in the promotion HERE.

If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment and I'll answer it in the thread, or email me at stephanieelliot@gmail.com. It is always at my discretion to change things up, and because of some regulations, I guess I must say that the books I review are given to me by either the authors or publishers or publicists, and I am never paid for my reviews, and they are my own personal reviews, and you know what, because I'm here telling you this anyway, I will also tell you that I never review a book I don't like, because you know what, why waste my time, life is too short to read a crappy book! There.

My best friend from college and I go away for a long weekend every year. Last year we went on a cruise. We had to skip this year due to the timing of my baby, but I think we are going to do Charleston next year.

On a wine tour of Southwestern Michigan... lots of wine, lots of fun, lots of talking, that would be the best! I mean its not far away from where we live, there are some fantastic wineries, and of course with the friends makes the weekend so much better!

I want to go somewhere far...where we need to take a plane...as long as it is not in driving distance...I don't care where we go. My husband won't fly so I'm going to have to see all the far off places of the world w/ a friend.

There are 4 of us that go on these mom weekends as often as possible. Usually to the shore for a few days at a time. We once went to Canada for a four day get-away! We had a blast. Honestly I don't care where the destination is as long as we can all find the open time to get together. We always have great stories about our trips no matter where it is.

Definitely either the Bahamas or Bermuda. We all love the Caribbean, but both of these places are just as nice and airfare would be less from where we are coming from.
