Good morning – today I bring you the last book for June, but don’t be sad because I’ve already got about 12 books lined up for July, including Jennifer Weiner, Amy Hatvany, Stacey Ballis and Emily Giffin, so while I will NOT be posting daily, we’ve got some great authors to look forward to still!

And speaking of great authors, today, as the final author in the June Book-a-Day promo, we’ve got Kaira Rouda’s All The Difference, a novel about three very different women and the choices they make (including MURDER!). And this book will have your heart racing through to the end, I promise you – nothing like ending the month here on Booking with Manic by sending you off with a book that’ll have us all going out with a bang!?!?

All The Difference is the story of three women whose lives become entangled by the choices they make and how, ultimately, one of them turns to murder to achieve her goals.

Roommates Laura and Angie couldn't be more different. Laura is a local celebrity, the television anchor who is motivated to move out of small-time media markets and on to the big time, no matter the cost. Meanwhile, Angie, a luckless waitress, spends her time waiting for Mr. Right to save her from temporary jobs and a life spent making bad choices.

On the other side of town, Ellen abandons her life as a successful fundraiser for that of an isolated housewife in the country estate she shares with her husband, whose affairs become increasingly hard to ignore. When the city’s gossip columnist, Maddie, and restaurant reviewer, Dixon, become involved in the mystery, the unlikely duo stir up more than they intended. But will anyone be able to stop the next murder?

With her signature compassion and wit, Kaira Rouda once again takes readers on an entertaining journey into the heart of women’s lives in suburbia - this time with adultery and murder in the mix.

If you’d like to win a copy of All The Difference, tell me one trait about YOU that makes YOU different from everyone else – it can be a personality trait or a physical trait – whatever you want to share with all of the other awesome people who come over here every day!

Please note—I’ll choose the rest of the book winners from June 20 through the end of the month after the Fourth of July holiday and then after THAT, I’ll bring you guys news of the GRAND PRIZE DRAWING – we’ll most likely have a FIRST PLACE WINNER and a SECOND PLACE WINNER and I will also announce the winner of the $15 Gift Card for The Cell Phone Lot entry  (THERE IS STILL TIME TO ENTER!), and you can still enter to win all of the other books that do not have winners’ names announced if you did not yet leave a comment!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

How about one of each. I have really odd feet and have had 2 surgeries but they are still really flat and my yoga teacher commented on them last night. :(
Trait about myself: I feel things deeply.

I can't think of anything impressive so I will tell you that I don't react to most mosquito bites. You know if you get an itchy bump after being bitten, you are allergic to their saliva. Well, I have been bitten many times and never had a bump. Except in Hawaii. Those mosquitos got me. Must be a slightly different species over there. =)

Physical trait--I have red curly hair that I am very vain about because I feel it makes me stand out from the crowd. Personality trait---I am a giant child. I love to have fun and have little shame in my pursuit of it.

I don't have a hitch hiker's thumb. You know when you do a thumb's up sign and the tip of your thumb arches back? Yea, mine doesn't do that. Not even close. It just stands straight up.

Hmm, that's hard. Sad but not really talented or have any special trait. I do have really soft skin. I do take care of my face but have always just had soft skin. Oh and small ears, which is nice because they don't stick out or look crazy.

my hair color is pretty unique, it's kind of a reddish brown and it's completely natural!

also i'm kind of unique in the way i say things and act. i'm kind of ridiculous, but in a good way!

I don't look remotely close to my age, at all. I'm 40 and look about 24. I have no wrinkles, crows feet, nothing. People never believe I'm as old as I am, and, I'm constantly pulling out my drivers license to prove it. It's gotten to the point where I carry 2 forms of ID with me, because I'm frequently turned away from bars, etc.

I use to be extremely shy--(friends parents loved me because I was so quiet). I hated this so I forced myself to get over it by always going outside of my comfort zone. Down fall I married the wrong guy and gave up some of "me" that I realize now at the age of 40 I really like so now--I am the real me not shy but still like my alone time so I meant it half way--which is where I should have always been.

This is such a hard question! I guess one of the things about me that makes me different is that I love the gym. Most people hate it but I love it!

Personality and physical traits:

I look on the bright side...I had to go through a lot because of my breast cancer (diagnosed when I was 31, no family history-GET THOSE MAMMOGRAMS!), but I got great curly hair (from chemo) and perky breasts (reconstruction on right side, lift on left side) because of it! And I also got my daughter-we adopted her after I was declared cancer-free! Who knows how long I might have tried to get pregnant had I not had cancer.

This is a hard question. I think I would say I'm really considerate. I want the best for people and I'm very helpful. I'm the person who gives someone else my seat on the Train, who tells tourist who didn't ask a great place to go visit with their kids, and who will always do what I can to make you happy.

I have a curiously small head. I'm 5'5" so I'm average sized, but I had to get a children's bike helmet because even the ones for women were too big. I have to find sunglasses specifically for small faces or I'll be wearing some Thomas the Train ones.

Hmm, I don't really have anything fun to share, someone already stole my big boobs answer. I guess I have to say I'm pretty quick witted and I can turn just about any sentence into a "your mama" joke. The husband doesn't appreciate this though since those jokes are usually aimed towards his mama :)
