Quote

"A professional writer is an
amateur who didn't quit."
-- Richard Bach

No idea who Richard Bach is but I like the way he thinks.

Later, "How Manic Mom turned Mild Mom over the weekend..."

Because....you were all just dying to know....not really.....more likely because I am a nerd that way........Richard Bach wrote Jonathan Livingston Seagull...

"Richard Bach's "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" found a global audience.

The allegory follows the life of a sea gull who aspires to fly beautifully and perfectly while the rest of the flock merely searches for food. He is ostracized from his fellows, but pursues his dream and ultimately achieves it.

The book's theme resonated with the times. It even became a 1973 movie with a Neil Diamond soundtrack. A significant number of Web sites are devoted to the book even today".

Great book in a 70's hip, filled with metaphors, self help, gestalt therapy kind of way.

Seeeeeeeeee you WERE dying to know now weren't you??????

LOL

Swish--Yes, it is now a quote appearing on my computer desk, right under my TPT-Talent, Peristence, Timing quote!

Boo7--I read that book when I was probably 10 or 11 and remember loving it!
Thanks for reminding me. I should reread it and see how it affects me so many years later!
