Today I...

In chronological order:

Got up at 9:45 a.m.

Made chocolate chip/cinnamon pancakes and turkey sausage.

Surfed the 'net.

Allowed children to have playdates.

Snuck upstairs and had a cheeseburger.

Spooned with hubby for two hours, while we slept from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Told him upon waking that I felt better than getting a massage.

Ate leftover steak fajitas with Hubby and Tukey.

Reminded Hubby that 15 years ago today, he did this to me.

Got on living room couch, read this.

Snoozed some more.

Got up.

Sent some kids back to their own homes.

Made noodles and butter for the boys; sliced apples and bread for Diva.

Went to Starbucks in my pajamas at 6:00 p.m. to get my dinner-a grandenonfatcinnamondolcelattewithwhip.

This sounds like a perfect day! We did much of the same, only subtract the kids and cooking and add lunch at Red Robin, ice cream at Culvers, and now computing side by side in our office (we're such geeks) while the Olympics drones on in the background.

How funny...my husband dumped me two days before valentines day as well...but we'd only been going out for a few months. It was one of his worst decisions ever. ;) Good thing it all worked out in the end.

BTW: I am still in my pj's working on homework. Yeah.

What a nice day. I LOVE Elizabeth Berg. Her prose is perfection, and her characters are real people to me.

You guys met on my birthday. I can't remember what I got that year, though... probably wasn't anything good.

Did he hump the other woman? When did you guys get back together?

Why is it that women cannot forget?

Steph, Joel just asked "Why is it that women can't forget?"!!!!!!!!! See!! (Joel, no offense to you. We just have a theory.)

I listened to "True To Form" on CD--fun--& Elizabeth Berg is a treasure.

Aaahhh, now I'm craving Starbuck$.

I'm so jealous of ALL of it, but maybe especially the pajamas-and-latte-in-the-evening part.
