Someone is Driving Sideways into Town!

Jess Riley is on her way to Manicland because she is taking part in a loco local author night here in Chicago and I get to be her beeyotch posse for the day!

I can't wait!

She'll be reading at The Book Cellar so if you're in the area come and join us!

Seriously. Come. There's wine too.

And rumor has it Jess will be reading from her second novel too!

Dude, I need more warning than this! I love the Book Cellar. While you're there, can you stop by the Chopping Block and Cafe Sel Marie for me, too? Just a couple of errands I need to run there soon (and yes, picking up the key lime tarts counts as an errand)... but it won't happen tonight :(

How fun! I bought Driving Sideways as a gift for a friend of mine. Now I'm just waiting for her to hurry up and finish it so I can borrow it! :)

Man, I wish I lived closer!! I'm almost finished with Driving Sideways . I love reading it at night before I go to bed and I try to sneak some in when the little one is taking a nap. I know I don't need to say this, but make sure you blog about her and take pictures to post. Thanks in advance.

Reading a day late on Thursday. At B&N yesterday, browsing while Jim & I waited on each other. Saw author/book you featured earlier. ZING! Had it not been on your blog, I'd never have known, and never bought it. Me=1 but who knows how many others? You are the start of something grand. I'm able to see, read finally!; 1st book I buy is one promoted by you! Told Jim, "She was on Manic's blog...." Hehehe Made him pay for it since it was hard back. I had done my shopping at Francesca's.

I LOVE the Book Cellar! (and Lincoln Square!) That's the street where my friend and I hang out twice a year...we eat at the German restaurant and check out all the great shops!
