This is how I felt the other day. I don't feel like this today. When I write a poem, I don't think about what I'm going to say; it just comes out of me, if that makes any sense, and the beginning phrase comes to me and I just write that phrase down and wait to see what comes next. I'm just expressing myself in the moment and this blog is my place to write what I feel. If it disturbs anyone, it's not meant to. It's just me writing my thoughts.
Mom, no need to worry, I am FINE! 143
I can feel it
writhing upward
No longer
contained
I've tried to drown it,
push it

for just
another
day.
But it surfaces and I can't stop the flooding.

I love the poem, but I love this - Mom, no need to worry, I am FINE! just as much.
Hey, write what you need to write, that's what this is for.
I have tried to stop censoring myself when I write on my blog, for fear of what "some people" might think. Who gives a rip, ya know?
glad you're FINE!!
Poor Mom. Hey, how come she doesn't comment?
this is so how I've been feeling

Art with words is what I see here.
I completely lack any ability with poetry. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate it. I can't recall how I found you, but I enjoyed surfing around your blog!
I write the same way. It just sort of comes out.
I think you must have been writing about me.
I didn't realize you were a poet. Love it.
It makes absolute sense. I write for a living, and I'll often just sit down with my laptop, get into the zone and let the words tumble out of my fingers.
Creative types just get this stuff. This is my first time visiting your blog, but it's already obvious to me that you're quite the creative. I look forward to reading more.
